***Safe & Creative Space Pledge***

As an organizer of social dance tango classes & events I promise to work towards creating safe & creative spaces.

If a participant feels uncomfortable or unsafe, they can approach me with their specific issue at any time (during or after the class or event I’m hosting). With discretion I will investigate (talk to all parties involved if possible) and resolve this issue (ban or take other action as need be).

Regarding creative spaces, I pledge to play a mix of music (traditional, contemporary tango, fusion tango, and non-tango sets) at my events & during classes (explaining how to connect & dance social tango to all these music genres).

Studio T is a forward thinking Tango club. Our alternative teaching style, along with silly jokes and prosecco, is a garunteed great experience for the first timer, or seasoned dancer.

Highly recommend these teachers! The workshops are leader heavy right now, so we are calling all interested followers to take advantage of this rare phenomenon. They will be in Manchester in June where Richard Slade will be one the the DJ's.

That’s a wrap! What an amazing year for Studio T . First we want to thank our core group that have been with us since the beginning, without you all, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Special thanks to Cliff, who saw our potential and opened the door to a whole new group of eager people wanting to learn Tango, and for John who offered his events which resulted in a whole second night of Tango classes. We also wanted to thank Katerina and Ewa for standing in as teaching assistants when one of us could not be there, we love teaching with you both and your support means the world to us. So many new faces to name you all but Maria, you feel like you have been with us since day one, and our new “dive in the deep end” Ana Maria who was the last woman standing on our last class of the year. Thank you all for trusting our process and giving us a chance and entertaining our goofiness. Cheers to each and every one of you, and here’s to an even better 2023!
