Ashtanga Yoga now every Sunday 8:30am at our beautiful Handforth Studio.
This class focuses on specific repetitive sequences that help create a meditative state. As the sequences are the same at each session, students can better track and progress their yoga postures.
These dynamic postures will warm the body, improve flexibility and improve strength leaving you energised and mentally focused.

Starting with a strong yoga flow and finishing with the soothing sounds of crystal bowls, this session offers a bit of everything - from dynamic postures to energise your body, to moments of deep relaxation as you wind down with a mini sonic adventure.

Calumās Ashtanga class will now be available every Wednesday at 18:15-19:15 at our Hawthorn Lane studio in Wilmslow Village.
Ian will take over Wednesdayās 18:00 -19:00 Flow Yoga class at the Total Fitness location ( then moving to Handforth ). This unfortunately means Ian will be passing his Friday evening Slow Flow class onto another one of our team, but the good news is, all of our team are amazing!

One of the most cherished traditions among yogis during the summer solstice is performing 108 Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar). The number 108 holds significant meaning in various spiritual traditions, including yoga. It is considered a sacred number in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universeās wholeness and completeness.

Calum is bringing his incredible practice to the Wilmslow Studio ( Total Fitness ) THIS Sunday and NEXT Sunday 8:30am !!
For anyone new to Calumās practice, this class is an Ashtanga practice, Ashtanga Yoga is the eight-limbed path of conscious living and spiritual practice that guides one towards Self-Knowledge and liberation. While Ashtanga is a very dynamic form of Hatha, and some postures can be challenging this practice is uplifting and promotes mental clarity and inner peace.
Calumās classes will return to the Hawthorn Lane Studio on 7th April at 9:15am
The Yogalife Academy offer an internationally recognised accreditation with a non-dogmatic and authentic approach. Our 200 hour training is focused on Hatha Vinyasa Yoga and classical philosophy. The course will also introduce students to Ta**ra yoga and great spiritual texts such as The Yoga Sutraās, The Upanishads & Bhagavad Gita.

Self-love is our love and appreciation for ourselves, while self-care refers to our actions to nurture and care for ourselves.
There are seven principles of self-love, including treating your body as a temple through healthy eating and exercise and developing a strong and positive mindset. Other tenets include setting boundaries, practicing self-acceptance, and taking responsibility for your happiness.
Many people struggle with self-love, However, practicing self-love can have numerous benefits, such as improved mental health and increased self-confidence.
To practice self-love, engaging in activities such as taking breaks, setting aside time for hobbies and relaxation, and of course yoga, is vital. By prioritizing self-love and self-care, individuals can improve their overall well-being and lead happier and more fulfilling lives.
