It was all smiles this afternoon as our bikes were out and about on the Middlewood Way ! So good to be out in the sunshine and fresh air 😎🌞

We popped in at Vernon Building Society in Poynton to thank them for their Community Stars support.

Today we cycled some of our bikes down to Poynton Golden Memories, a group supporting those with dementia and their carers. We don't normally do this but it allowed us to reach new users 😃 and maybe new volunteers too 😉🤞. There were lots of smiles and waves on a sunny afternoon and we look forward to more, back on the Middlewood Way. Thank you to our Volunteers Kate, Debbie, Sue and Andy.

We have a wheelchair bike ( it’s electric , don’t worry!) as well as our very popular side by side bike ( like a tandem but side by side ) we also have trikes if you are not able to balance on two wheels !

A huge shout out to Simon at the Boars head and all of you guys who donated to our charity over the Boars fest weekend. Over £200 was raised and we are so grateful for all of your support. The Boars Head is a brilliant place to store our bikes and head out on rides on the Middlewood Way on our adapted bikes.

The weather tomorrow is not looking too bad and our bikes are available to book tomorrow afternoon via our website (please message us if that’s not possible)

🚲BIKE WEEK - 10TH - 16TH JUNE 2024🚲

Cycling improves physical fitness, mental well-being, and helps build stronger, more sustainable communities.

Ways to get involved:
🚲Replace short local journeys you'd normally make by car.
🚲Take the kids out for a bike ride - perhaps even cycle to school (we know a lot of folk in our community are already doing this!)
🚲Encourage your friends to join you on a ride.

You'll spot our CCST out and about on their bikes over the coming months. Stop them for a chat if you spot them!
