Do you ever sit there wondering what’s the difference between peaches and nectarines? 🤔

You don't need to wonder anymore as we have some of the answers right here for you now... 😉

Peaches and nectarines are widely enjoyed worldwide thanks to their juiciness, flavour and nutritional content. While they have many similarities, they’re two distinct fruits with genetic and culinary differences. 🥰

They’re both fairly high in natural sugars, contain a decent amount of fibre and provide small amounts of micronutrients like potassium, vitamins A, C, and E. But peaches are slightly higher in calories, carbs, and sugar. 👍

Nectarines are smaller than most peaches. They also have thin, smoother skin and firmer flesh. Peaches have thicker, fuzzy skin and softer flesh. 🤩

So the bottom line is that peaches and nectarines are related stone fruits. Nectarines are a type of peach without the fuzzy skin. So if you want to do a taste test and do your own comparison then they are available at 75p each whilst stock last.
