HERITAGE OPEN DAYS ANNIVERSARY GALLERY
Preston Masonic Hall is bursting with pride to announce that, following a Public Vote, the Hall has been included in the 30th Anniversary Gallery featuring just 30 venues across the Country. We are the only Preston Venue selected and voted for. Thank you to all who voted for Preston Masonic Hall.
Preston Masonic Hall has many fascinating and unique features. The Hall will be open for Heritage Open Days on Saturday 7th September 2024. Make a note in your diary now and watch out for more details in the coming weeks.
In addition to the special nature of the building, Heritage Open Days were impressed by how the Hall is a Community Asset. Members of the public can hire the place for weddings and parties. In addition, we offer facilities to a number of our local charitable and community groups.
Anniversary Gallery To celebrate our 30th anniversary we've created this special gallery page. A 30 for 30 showcase of the wonderful sites, stories and people that have made Heritage Open Days so magical over the years.

LET'S PUT PMH ON THE MAP!
VOTE TODAY
The National Trust led Heritage Open Days is England's biggest Festival of history and culture. This year is extra special because it is the 30th Anniversary of the first Heritage Open Days Festival. PMH takes part every year.
To celebrate those 30 years, the festival organisers are creating a Showcase Anniversary Gallery of 30 HOD events and venues covering a wide variety of current and past participants to be published nationally.
Preston Masonic Hall has been shortlisted for one of those 30 showcase places, but the final decision is down to a Public Vote. The Masonic Hall is the ONLY location or event shortlisted from Preston, and the ONLY Masonic property in England
The Hall was selected by the organisers not only for the history of the building and the fascinating artefacts inside. It was also chosen for the way it has evolved into a Community Asset. At each open day, local Preston Artists and Photographers are given free space in the Ballroom to create a free art exhibition. They Mayor always attends. The same Ballroom is available to the community for weddings and parties. Importantly, many local societies, volunteer groups and charities make use of the many meeting facilities.
To vote for PMH click on this link and scroll down to the NORTH WEST and select The Masonic Hall. Voting closes on 30th June.
