🐮 Four tasty new flavours of Greek style yogurt have been launched into the iconic Ann Forshaw’s range.



Now in SPAR stores across the North of England, the new yogurts are available in delicious fat free flavours including Madagascan Vanilla, Honey, and Strawberry. There is also a low fat Sicilian Lemon variety in the range.

💚😊 Residents in Patrington in the East Riding of Yorkshire are benefiting from an improved range and better availability as new a SPAR store in the village was officially launched.



Owned by Paramjit Singh Randhawa and family, the store came under the SPAR symbol in August, with sales improving by up to 25% since as local people have responded to the better offer in-store.

😄 SPAR retailer Bhav Parekh has won a prestigious Retail Industry Award for his work in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.



Bhav, who owns the SPAR store in Ovington Drive, Southport, beat off strong competition to win the award for the work he has done at the store since acquiring it in 2020.

We are thrilled to announce the resounding success of the Lancashire School Games Dance Finals held in Blackpool on 15th May. This highly anticipated event showcased the immense talent and creativity of the 22 participating schools.

After an exhilarating competition, we proudly congratulate Anchorsholme Academy, Blackpool, for securing the well-deserved victory in the Primary School category. Equally deserving of applause, Millfield High School, Wrye & Fylde emerged triumphant in the Secondary School division, demonstrating their remarkable skills.

Following the devastaing earthquakes which hit Turkey and Syria, the National Guild of SPAR has donated £25,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal, on behalf of SPAR retailers around the UK.

Donation boxes are also available in participating SPAR stores where shoppers can give support, which will go to the relief efforts and the people on the ground helping those in need as quickly as possible.

😊💚 A 10-year-old girl from Kirkbymoorside in North Yorkshire has won the competition to design a lorry trailer celebrating the charity partnership between SPAR and Marie Curie UK

Holly Brocklebank-Watts was selected as the winner from more than 200 entries submitted through SPAR stores in the North of England. Her dad Nick saw the competition in the SPAR store in Sleights near Whitby during his round as a postman and took an entry template home for Holly to enter.

👀😊 Iconic Lancashire brand Ann Forshaw’s and its associated Alston Dairy has been acquired by the James Hall Group of Companies.



The acquisition sees the Group expand its portfolio of food manufacturing businesses in the North West to five, adding Ann Forshaw’s Alston Dairy to Clayton Park Bakery, Fazila Foods, Graham Eyes Butchers, and the Great Northern Sandwich Company.
