The Leadenhall Building aka ‘The Cheesegrater’. I was lucky enough to have a great viewpoint for a client event so obviously couldn’t resist taking a few shots of the iconic building from the lookout. Love the skyscrapers or hate them, you have to admire the architecture and imposing feature on the London skyline.

St Paul’s and Royal Exchange with the Gresham grasshopper weather vane atop. So lucky to get this viewpoint across the skyline to capture these architectural beauties and even happier to have a range of lenses on me to capture various focal lengths. The grasshopper was the personal emblem of Tudor financier Sir Thomas Gresham (c1519-1579)

How’s this for a dressing room? I wouldn’t need to chuck all of my ‘big jumpers’ in a heap like I do now, with this space 😁😍 Anyone else just heap their clothes up, or use ‘the chair’ as a dumping space?

Congress house, headquarters of the Trade Union Congress (TUC). A quick shot grabbed recently whilst covering a company meeting at the iconic venue. Did you know that Congress House was one of the earliest post-war buildings to become Grade 2 listed, in 1988? Officially opened in 1958, the building was the creation of David du Roi Aberdeen, who won an architectural competition to design it.

I often get asked to take a couple of designers ‘doing their thing’ on a shoot. These can be hugely useful to the client for a variety of posts / articles and for their own branding. Many architectural and interiors photographers aren’t happy to do these semi-portrait shots (& rightly so if they don’t have experience in photographing people) but with over a decade shooting portraits too, I think it’s an advantage to be able to provide a different type of shot for a client whilst on site. This can also include shots of the designer interacting with their client, candid and unposed shots and even some ‘fun’ shots showing some real personality. Worth considering if you feel you would like these additional images from your next project.

Beautiful contemporary home originally designed by an eminent architect in the 1950’s and recently restored and extended after a period of dilapidation by Wolstenholme Architects. This home sits so perfectly nestled in the hills of Turville.

Loved this bedroom design by Kim - especially after seeing the ‘before’ photos of the space. It really didn’t do it justice. After Kim’s transformation it’s now a lovely bright, calm, tranquil space to relax.

What happened to Spring? I wish this rain would just sod off now! This image was actually taken a couple of years ago at Country Fayre event at Claydon Estate. Boy did it hammer it down, but it didn’t stop the intrepid British shoppers out to bag some fabulous products. Anyway…. I’m ready for summer now please, but I’d be happy with just some sunny Spring freshness ☔️ ☀️
