Yes it’s official I’m on the move. 🚪🗝️

I know everyone’s been waiting with anticipation as to when and where, so here are all the details…

After years of creating beautiful skin and nails i’m having a little transformation of my own!

I’ve found a perfect new home and I’m so excited to announce that in May 2024 Leona the Beauty room will be relocating and transforming into SKINERGY by Leona.

A new location, with fresh ideas and a welcoming place that I hope you’ll love too.

Closing the chapter to this year to open a new one full of new beginnings.

Many things learnt and lots has happened in 2021.

People come and go. I’ve had lots to laugh about. Friends and family are everything. Self care and self love are important. Look forward not back, you can’t change what’s happened, but you can build a better future. Eat chocolate it’s yum!! Find time to exercise (it’s great for my mind), breathe, binge watch a series on Netflix’s occasionally. Set goals. Have dreams. I could go on…

So many things to be grateful for. Its time to look ahead. Feeling blessed.

How can you tackle winter dry skin?

That tight feel, fine lines, wrinkles and dull skin doesn’t have to be what you wake up to each day. Little daily changes can get you on the road to the dream skin that you desire.

Follow these quick tips to help your skin reach its full beautiful potential:

✨ Keep showers short, and use lukewarm/tepid water - Hot showers can irritate and dry out your skin, causing damage to your delicate skins barrier (top layer of your skin). A healthy skin barrier locks in that lovely moisture. Its like the roof of your house.

✨ Don’t use harsh scrubs or exfoliators -
The reason is the same as above. Why would you want to remove something that’s there to protect your skin and there to keep your skin healthy!

✨ Do moisturise straight after your shower your skin is most receptive while its still damp (pat don’t rub)- Damp skin pulls in that excess water you’ve left behind. Moisturising immediately will help trap in that must needed hydration.

✨ If you want to go the extra mile invest in a small humidifier to put moisture back in the air at home and back into your skin.

It’s nearly Christmas which means we’ll soon be ushering in a brand-new year.

2021 has been a memorable one. The salon doors have opened and closed, but in that time I’ve learned new skills, bought in new technologies, loved hearing your positive feedback and seeing your skin transformations. In 2022 I’ll be bringing in more exciting things to slow down that pesky ageing process!

My goal today and always is to make everyone who visits me feel better about themselves. Perhaps you’ll leave with some new found knowledge or off load what’s on your mind, a problem shared and all that🥰
