It’s not very often I get to work on men, but everyone is welcome here and the lovely Mason came in today for a sharp set of stilettos!
It was an absolute pleasure to work with you today and I thoroughly enjoyed your appointment.

A fresh set of acrylics, using tips to add length to the natural nails. Finished with a painted design and gel topcoat.

THREE WEEKS LATER…

The old design was filed away and the nails were prepped ready for an infill using the same core colour as the first set.
Once filed, the nails were painted with a new design and finished with gel topcoat.

THREE WEEKS LATER…

In this picture you can see the nail design has been filed away and I have started to prep the nails for an infill, making sure that any lifted product is removed and then I will prepare the cuticles by removing all debris from the natural nail before applying acrylic.

The nails have been infilled with the same acrylic core colour that was used on the previous 2 sets.
The nails are now ready to be filed and shaped….

•5 & 6. A new design has been painted and the nails have been finished with a gel topcoat and some cuticle oil to keep those cuticles nourished.

All nails are still attached every three weeks because this client keeps up with her maintenance appointments and follows the aftercare advice she is given.
At each appointment the length is taken down slightly at the clients request.

How long do these appointments take?
Depending on the design choice, simple designs on shorter lengths can take 90 minutes whereas longer length nails and more detailed designs can take 2+ hours.

What will she choose to have next time? 🤔

My advice, go to a qualified nail technician who has had the correct training and a professional who is insured.

DIY nails at home can be very harmful to you if you do not understand the chemicals and products used.

Nails are a luxury and not a necessity.

All products used by myself are CPNP registered and fully compliant with all EU directives.

Unlike some, not all “nail bars”
Every client of mine has to have a consultation, client records are kept in accordance with all GDPR.
