I would like to thank everyone that sent me B/Wishes yesterday, it made my 70 years on this planet worth it, again thank you 😎
We are about to move into our new flat and we are in the need of some dowl's for our curtains I have tried B&M useless, Wick's only supply 6ft dowls. So what i need is someone to point me in the right direction to get what we need. Anyone?
Last week i had a job to walk very far so went on Amazon and bought a wheel chair, brand new and used it today for the first. It takes some getting used to but it saved me from collapsing. We shop at Tesco and the staff couldn't help enough even in the car park. The only thing i would say to Tesco try and get some of the clamps like they have in Costco.
This may sound weird but here goes. My wife and myself are looking for a place to live as we have to move out of our home. We are looking for either a flat or granny flat some where we can see out our days. If you can help please P M and we will get back to you.
Has anyone else got one of these?
Yesterday was for once a day i won't forget. My long lost grand daughter came back into my life, we hadn't seen her in person for nearly 10 years. I won't go into details as to why not but hey ho. I was in shock when i heard it was her and nearly broke down in tears but being a bloke held it back (as we do) i am now complete.
Today has been an up and down kinda day. I went for my check up at the RBH and went through the normal questions. But when i asked my question i got my answer in a round about way . The question i asked was "Can i book a holiday for next year"? My answer was "Errrrr no" so what does that tell you? So if you don't hear from me for a while you can take it i am in pain. Roy-Shelley Taylor (bread man Victoria)
We have a very special thank you going out to Amy and Mark Winston for all your help getting me to the RBH this week. Without the pair of them i would have been stuffed, to have friends like them is all you could ask for. We really do thank you.
We would like to thank everyone that came to see us yesterday. Without your support we would not have been able to carry on for so long. A special thank you goes out to Tracey who along with Alan helps to run the Sunday boot sale. Also a GIANT thank you to Tracey for the thoughtful gift she gave me, i will treasure it XX. Again THANK YOU ALL and keep well. Roy.
Please don't forget that TODAY is my very last car boot/market. We will be at Woodley carboot for our swan song, we (Jack my grandson) thank everyone that has become friends with us during our stay with you guy's. We are going to miss you all but due to my condition i have had to quit. Goodbye and good luck all.
Please remember that this weekend at Woodley carboot will be our last ever boot. My grandson (Jack) and myself would like to thank everyone that we have met and become friends with us also for all the support we have been shown. Without you guy's we would have closed ages ago, so let's see as many of you to say goodbye to. Roy (Yummy or What
This is a hard thing to write about but, as from next weekend i will be giving up on selling the bread, roll's and cake. This problem i have has for the last few week's knocked me for 6. So next Sunday the 17th Dec will be my very last day anywhere selling, and i will be saying goodbye to all my friends at Woodley carboot. Sad but it's going to happen,
R.I.P. United Kingdom You are too soft. You raised the cost of living so high that both parents are always at work, rather than spending time with their children. You took God out of schools. Parents were told 'No you can't discipline your kids'. Well, United Kingdom You shall reap what you sow, and we have lost a whole generation and turned them into rude, selfish, disrespectful brats who have no respect for people, property or authority! You deemed people with terminal illnesses and some with only a few months to live…fit for work!!! You allow our veterans of war to go homeless and hungry but give out millions to foreign aid!!! You stop people’s entitlement to welfare benefits thus leaving them so desperate that they commit su***de!! You bend over backwards to be politically correct, too scared to say enough is enough, in case you offend. You put the retirement age up so people must work until they drop!! People depend on handouts and food banks, whilst we give aid to others including the takers of society! Our retired generation rely on inadequate state pensions, their thanks for working hard. Things need to change! Copy & paste if you have the guts too!!!
Please don't forget that Woodley car boot is NOT on tomorrow as there is a big function going on.
We have started to see a reduction in the number of illegal e-bikes in the town due to a continual enforment action the Town Centre NHPT have been running. However, last night we were joined by and we still stopped and seized a number of them which will cost each of them £150 plus storage charges.
If your bike has a throttle it becomes a motorbike under the road traffic act and therefore requires the rider to have a driving licence and insurance.
Someone once said when you love someone with Dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they are diagnosed, when they go through different stages, when they need treatment and when they die. This is called "Ambigua Loss."
I wouldn’t wish Dementia on anyone. As the brain slowly dies, it changes physically and eventually forgets who their loved ones are. They can end up lying in bed not moving and not eating or drinking.
There will be people who will scroll by this post because Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who battled or is fighting Dementia.
To Raise Awareness of this Cruel Disease, I'd like my Friends to Put this on their Page Today.
