Andrew’s History and Experiance

Andrew has been involved in Taisudo Kickboxing since 1990 achieving a black belt under 6th Dan Robert Alnwick and MMA since 2009 competing at an amateur level, he has been practicing Jiu-Jitsu since 2013 where he currently holds a purple belt at Carlson Gracie Academy, he is from Gateshead near Newcastle Upon Tyne but moved to Reading just outside London in 2008. He got a taste for refereeing after completing a Marc Goddard MMA Rules & Judging Seminar in February 2011. He started refereeing MMA and K1 in March 2011, he has refereed 100’s of shows with a mix of pro and amateur fights, with styles such as MMA, Boxing and K1 bouts, amounting to well over a 1000 bouts. He has since refreshed his training with two further Marc Goddard courses and he was also present for the UKMMAF’s first ever UK referee training 2 day course where he was licensed.

Shock N Awe (Portsmouth), SNA Contenders (Portsmouth), Killacam Fight Nights (Margate, Kent), Night of the Gladiators GPUK (Stoke), ECMMA (Kent), Apocalypse Fight Series (Bognor Regis).

UCMMA, Elite Fight Club, Lion Fighting Championships, Warrior Fight Series, Fury MMA, UWCB, Fightstar Fighting Championship, X3 Promotions, Total Takedown, Super Series Boxing, K1-Extreme Kickboxing.
