A very nostalgic day today. Went to the coast on the bike and stopped at Margate. We parked the bike outside Dreamland and it was open. We couldn’t resist a nosey inside. I’ve not been there since 1990!! A couple of the old rides were still there including the Scenic Railway. Had to have a go and it brought back many happy memories of being a teenager and spending the day in Dreamland with my mates.

Went to Broadstairs on the bike today. The weather was perfect and so was the views. You can’t beat the Kent coast for a day out 😊.

Had a couple of over ripe bananas. It smells amazing! 🍌

WIP Wednesday and watching Stranger Things **t

What would you do??? When it’s really hot outside and your cooking Sunday dinner and your getting too hot in the kitchen, but this fu**er is just outside the door and your petrified of spiders! I would rather die from the heat than open the door 🤣🤣🤣

New start!! Fabric is dyed, washed, dried and ironed all ready to go, but damn I don’t have all the colours I need….a lethal trip to Hobbycraft on Monday it is then to buy the threads, yeah right like I’m just going to buy thread!! 😂

When you spend an entire week designing a new pattern, but get carried away with the size!! 30” x 30” 😱 Sharpie for scale! It’s a Halloween pattern and it’s going to take a long time to test stitch and it will be available for Halloween 2030!! 🤣 I’m now off to find a bowl big enough so I can dye the fabric lime green.

Not done a WIP Wednesday for ages! Just finishing the simple border and then it will be available on my website. **tdifferentday **t

It’s been about 12 months in the making, and still a few tweaks to go, but I’ve finally finished my website and it is now live!!! 🥳 Warning ⚠️ Lot’s of f***s were used in the making of this website and I so wanted to give up so many times, but I carried on and I’m super proud of what I have achieved!

I had some surplus fabric that I don’t use, it’s DMC 16 count. I’ve hand dyed it and it’s available now in my Etsy store and there is also 10% off. Once it’s gone it’s gone!

Went to Hastings at the weekend and we went on the East Hill Funicular Lift. It originally opened in 1902 and was closed in 2007 due to an accident, but reopened last year. It made Hastings look like a model village from the top and it was nice to see the seaside from a different view. #1066

2 completed stitches for FINISH FRIDAY!! They just need washing, ironing and framing. I’ve got this stitching and Netflix combo down to a fine art now and it’s the first time in ages I’ve actually completed a couple of WIP’s that I started months ago!
