We are hiring Support Workers to join our team! (No personal care)
🕒 Fixed Shifts Available:
TN8: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11am-3pm
ME6: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11am-2pm
TN12: Monday to Sunday 9am-5pm (2 people required for this shift, alternating schedule: one week 4 days on, 3 days off; next week, the other person works 4 days on, 3 days off)
🚗 Requirements: Must have a car and business insurance
Competitive pay of £13.20 per hour, plus petrol pay

📅 Happy Leap Day, everyone! Did you know that today, 29th February, only occurs once every four years? 🎉 That's because it's a leap year!

But why do some Februaries have 29 days instead of the usual 28? 🤔 Well, it all comes down to our trusty calendar! Our modern Gregorian calendar, which most of the world follows, has 365 days in a year. However, the Earth's orbit around the sun actually takes about 365.2425 days. That extra 0.2425 adds up over time, creating a discrepancy between our calendar and the actual astronomical year.

To correct this misalignment, we add an extra day to the calendar every four years, creating a leap year. This extra day, 29th February, helps to keep our calendar in sync with the Earth's orbit and ensures that our seasons stay aligned with the calendar months.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As a Field Care Supervisor, your main focus is working in the community, assessing and supporting Prudent Dom Care's wonderful customers and fantastic Care Assistants. The role is full-time, requiring you to work 40 hours a week, every other weekend/1 in 3, with additional on-call duties.

You will carry out a range of duties in this role, including but not limited to:

Assessing and reviewing individual service users' care plans
Providing practical supervision, instruction, and support to Care Assistants
Handling administration tasks related to both Customers and Care Assistants
Covering calls when needed, on-call duties on a pro rota basis
You will be great in this role if you are:

A great communicator, highly motivated, and organized
Possess solid leadership skills
Committed to maintaining high standards at all times for yourself and others
Due to the nature of the role and our commitment to providing the best support to our customers and care assistants, you'll need to have at least 1 year of experience in a home care setting and live no more than a 30-minute drive from our office location in Rochester.

Field Care Supervisors carry out their duties with an agreed understanding that this role requires flexibility.
