Bushin

Our little Bushin club is six this week, and what a journey it has been. From a crazy busy launch, through the opening months when it was dead, through Covid that didn't wipe us out, through having to find a new venue in a very short window...we got through it all and came out the other side stronger.

Thank you to all those who have been through our doors, and those who continue to do so. To old friends and new ones to come.

Six years old and counting, with limited resources. We must be doing something right here! Here's to the next six!

Just missing Jon as he had to shoot early, bit congratulations to the graders today. The level was very very high and you should all be rightly proud of your achievements.

A load more up to the next level, may you continue with that standard. I expect nothing less!

Being able to get back to your feet safely is critical when fighting, Here we have one on one, next we work multiples, just in case he has a friend also trying to kick your head in...

Last class of 2023 done. It was a blast training with this lot and going for food afterwards this evening.

I am so happy with all the people who have come along and decided to join Bushin. The people definitely make the club, and my group are an absolute pleasure to be around.

Onwards to 2024!

A week purely on sparring. Concentrating on various techniques and tactics to make sure you come out on top, all mixed in with different types of sparring and different rules.

Grading done, amazing job by all, some new belts gained. Also a bit of throw up…which is a first for us!

Stick Week this week and it was fun showing the guys an intro into some basic FMA.

Wouldn't want to be Harry here, a stick to the head followed by your arm getting destroyed can't be fun...lucky we were using the foam sticks and not the wooden ones at the side of the room!
