🀣🀣🀣 Been shut over a year but opinions are like a& # after all & everyone has one. Unfortunately we've all got accessibility issues. πŸ™„πŸ™„
Obviously the description of first floor restaurant never quite sank in with people.
But getting a 1⭐ review today is quite frankly hilarious.
It's up there with the weekly requests from local people who state the place is wonderful in their begging for raffle prize letters 😳😳
Closely followed by the amount of job applications we still receive wanting to work in the highly rated restaurant

I'm sure this post will be shared more than any other we've ever posted. Cos everyone loves a bit of gossip.

Myself & Richard have decided that our time at Restaurant 450 has to come to an end.

Unfortunately we've been hit with disaster after disaster since arriving in 2019 and the latest round of What can 127e Bawtry Road throw at Us, has left us in a position where we can no longer justify investing money in to the business for repairs of the venue/replacing equipment etc.

So as we agreed on the eve of new years eve when we were broken into, when lockdown happened, then again, followed by Boris halting December along with fridges dying, equipment and electrics failing, and a never ending list of problems, if we sink we all sink together.

So unfortunately it's done, time up, over and out.

But I have to say a huge Thanks to Our Customers & fantastic team.

To Our Customers thank you for your support, we've loved welcoming you inside.
We're grateful that you chose us, appreciated the food and service and always looked beyond 'the venue' itself. We truly will miss you all.

Richard you've worked your butt off since day one, I'm sorry you've not got the recognition you truly deserve but I'm sure one day I'll say oooh I know him he used to hate me at 2.30pm on a Sunday 😁

Vic & Ell for answering my crisis calls and covering for me when needed.

And my 'work children' Sophie, Ebony, Lewis, Elise, Ellie I couldn't have asked for a better crew. You all work so hard and your parents should be proud.

To our team past too Caitlin, Georgia, Jack we still miss you too.

We have laughed and cried together, argued and wound each other up but I couldn't have had a better work family πŸ’”πŸ˜’

Thank you to everyone who's been this weekend it's been a long time since we were able to help you celebrate all the wonderful women in your lives.

It's been lovely to do a more normal service at long last, it seems like a life time ago we were making the phonecalls to cancel things back in 2020.

The menus were written, the food had already started to be delivered/prepped. We were fully booked.

Unfortunately we never made the day. Boris had spoken, We we're closed, the food was no use, the restaurant in darkness and we were all sat at home 😒

Why Nasturtium Leaves......

Nasturtium Leaves carry a mild peppery flavour and a mustard type aroma. Chef had told me this.

But while researching things I've just come across the fact that they're packed with nutrition, have high levels of vitamin C and anti oxidants, perfect for tackling sore throats, colds & aiding the immune system to fight bacterial or fungal infections 😍😍

So I thought I'd share for those who didn't realise too πŸ™‚
