Always a challenge to create a cake that suits both a boy and girl but the beautiful shades of the different colours on this joint communion cake really came together beautifully!

We recently celebrated my niece/goddaughters first birthday and I do love a family event as I pretty much have free rein on the cake design (and normally influence the theme too based on what cake I want to do 🤣) I was so excited to do this ‘Fairy First Birthday’ cake and matching cupcakes for our own little fairy and went with a fairytale/woodland theme featuring fairies, toadstools, butterflies and even a little swing!
