📣Calling all Beavers and Cubs in Mersey Weaver! 🦫🐺
Cheshire Scouts are organising an incredible Funday at Forest Camp Activity Centre 🏕️on the 14 July with over 60 different activities spread over 4 activity zones for young people to get !
🚌 Due to the number of young people attending, no cars are allowed on site so Mersey Weaver are organising and providing transport via coach and minibus for all our groups to Blakemere from five different pickup points and back. This has been included in the cost.
Parents can book young people on directly for this event and places have been allocated proportionately by geographic location to give every Beaver and Cub an equal opportunity to attend. However we expect places to go very quickly and to avoid disappointment, we recommend parents book on before 16 April here 👇👇👇👇

Accessibility & Inclusion ♿️💳
-----------------------------------------------------------------
We think this event will be great value for money and should be accessible for nearly everyone. However, in Mersey Weaver we would never want a young person to miss out due to cost or because of an access need (if it can be helped). If you’re at all concerned about covering the cost of this activity, need any help with kit or equipment or need more information about the accessibility or any adjustments that we might be able to make, please speak to your leader or email us in complete confidence. There are many ways we can support your attendance!

Our Chief Scout, Bear Grylls, said:
‘This award shows how Scout volunteers make all the difference in their communities. Our 16–25-year-olds are our shining lights – inspiring us with their commitment, kindness and care for communities and their planet. Giving a little time as a volunteer to help as a Young Leader, driver, trustee, chair, treasurer, or simply doing the catering at Cub camp, will have a long-lasting, positive impact on young people’s lives and help them gain vital skills for life.’
