Cheshire Cats Roverway Patrol at Manchester Airport ready to depart for Roverway 2024 🇳🇴

Roverway is an International Scout and Guide event for those aged 16-22, which is this time taking place in Norway!

What an outstanding year for 6th Runcorn Scout Group they have opened Squirrels and worked so incredibly hard on this project for the 50 years of Halton Celebrations

Last night, we held our first Kandersteg International Scout Centre🇨🇭Teambuilding event at Queen Charlotte’s Wood. It was incredible for everyone to meet one another on the first step of this incredible adventure!

Every one of the Scouts and Explorers selected were really excited about the destination, the beautiful landscapes of Switzerland, promises of breathtaking scenery and incredible adventures. However, the true essence of this trip lies in the bonds and friendships the young people make a long the way so it was great seeing so many of them getting involved and making new friends!

Over the course of the evening they did several fun activities including the obligatory speed-dating, working together to build a pioneering ladder, the chocolate game (using a toblerone of course), blindfolded challenge with balloons and a ball drop! We also asked young people to bring a baby photo to see if they could guess who it was….

Our Beavers and Cubs have had a fantastic time this weekend at Forest Camp Activity Centre for the Funday!

A few of our Explorers made it to the top of the highest Mountain in the UK this weekend!

It’s been an action packed weekend for Cheshire Scouts, with the Cheshire Mountaineering team taking 20 Explorer up Ben Nevis yesterday! A fantastic achievement and some future permit holders in the making!
