Thankyou!
Although England's score was 1-1, the children loved wearing their football kit to help celebrate the Euros! We had various obstacles in the garden to complete and our own penalty shoot outs!

The children at Blossoms Day Nursery love seeing the fish in the pond. The children take it in turns to feed the fish and observe how they swim around in the water.
The Daffodils children have been very lucky to observe the life cycle of butterflies. They watched as the caterpillars ate their food, turn into chrysalis's and hatch into butterflies!
We read the story the hungry caterpillar to support the children's learning, this also encouraged the children's mathematical language when counting the foods in the story.
The Sunflowers Children had a fantastic Monday morning at the Rushden, Higham & Wellingborough Railway! The children were very happy to go on the Nursery Bus with their friends and go to the train station. The children took part in an eye spy game, looking for various types of transport from many years ago. The children also took it in turns in being the Station Master on the carriages.
We are all very proud of the Sunflowers children!
Thankyou to Rushden, Higham & Wellingborough Railway for having us!
I think we may have a Blossoms Day Nursery band in the making! π€πΈ
The Hive are having a brilliant time being detectives during half term, lots of investigations are taking place to solve the mysteries.
The Daffodils children went on an adventure on the nursery bus to Hall Park. We explored the bugs, the flowers, the park and we fed the squirrels! And then at the end of our adventure we saw a police car, we had such an exciting afternoon. ππ²

βWere you aware that children have more taste buds than adults, which is why some flavours can be more intense for them? This could explain their unique food preferences!
It's getting to that time of year where we can begin planting and sowing seeds in our vegetable patch. Today we found a small carrot in the patch. The children show great enjoyment in planting, growing and picking vegetables to then use at meal times.
Healthy body, healthy mind, healthy world. ππ₯
