I’m so in love with this chenille from king cole. It works up to Super chunky, so thicker than standard yummy. It’s so fast and so soft. I was able to make this single Christmas blanket in just 2 evenings and it took less than a day to make a snuggly dressing gown.

This Wonderland colour way is exclusive to us and when it is gone there will be no more.

Something we regularly get asked about is arm Knitting/crochet and why don't we sell the yarn? I'm sure we are all familiar with the sort of thing pictured below, stunning and usually photographed in a very up market lounge or bedroom. This kind of yarn is called roving. It is unspun and usually pure wool (this alone hikes the price up).
The reason we won't stock it is shown in the pictures in the comments. These show what this kind of yarn looks like after a few weeks of careful, gentle use _ that means no children, no pets and no washing.
I think you will agree they are starting to look awful already and will soon be fit for the bin.
Now take into account the cost. The blanket in the first picture will have cost £150-£200 in yarn!

So as stunning as they look would just feel like I was swindling my customers if I sold this. We pride ourselves on good quality, good prices and honest customer service so would be going against our values if we sold this.

I hope this post makes things a bit clearer and that you continue to love all the beautiful yarns that we do sell x

I'm so sad about this but this beautiful tin and lavender plus the price tag has been taken from my shop today!! This was all hand made by my friend and I know it was there earlier as I had taken this photo. For the price tag to be taken too is shocking. If anyone sees it anywhere please let me know, especially all my event friends!

If you've always giggled at our rude sweary crochet hooks then now is the time to grab one. We are changing the design slightly so we have reduce all of our old stock to £5 each.
Once these have sold the price will go back to £7.50 for the new style.
There is a very limited supply so why not grab a Christmas present early.

Some of our lessons are in half term and Saturdays so children are welcome to join these lessons - age 10 and above.

Please be aware of this SCAM,
I've just had a very convincing call from a person pretending to be Octopus energy trying to get me to change my business contract. This rung alarm bells because I had only changed it 2 weeks ago. I phoned Octopus directly through the number on the app and they said that they NEVER do outgoing calls unless they have been pre arranged.
This person was very convincing and I'm sure that if the conversation had continued I would have been asked to confirm my bank details.
Hopes this helps someone.

I hate to do this but I have to have a little moan. I know most of our customers are lovely and respectful of our patterns. But unfortunately we are having this on a daily basis. Patterns so creased that they can’t be sold (£15 worth of stock wasted). Pattern folders looked through and just closed so that the whole lot are curved over. Loose patterns just put in anywhere so that they get creased. We now have to spend time replacing packets and fixing folders.

We actually make very little money on the patterns and if this continues I am going to have to consider a price increase to cover these kind of losses.

Sorry to moan but we try our best to make the shop as inviting as possible and this sort of thing is so frustrating.
