A few pieces I have made in the last few months. Crochet socks (sold) plastic canvas handbag fully lined with internal pockets made with a soft chenille yarn (£30) dragon bag (£35)

So over the years I have tried to crochet socks with sock yarn that fit but because of the nature of crochet and the fact I crochet tightly have always failed to make socks that stretch over the heel and ankle. Hopefully this time I got it right just have to wait to hear back from the one I gifted them to. To find out if I got it right this time……… fingers crossed

So I have the AirPod 3rd generation wanted a cute little case to attach to my bag so I know where they are. Unfortunately couldn’t find one that was not a plain silicone so in true crafters tradition I decided to make my own. This is my frog crochet in 4ply cotton and small buttons for eyes with a tiny button on back to make sure my case doesn’t open in my bag and made with a space so can be charged without removing the case.

Hoping to add a new craft to my repartee. Tambour embroidery normally seen on haute couture dresses made with very fine thread with beads and sequins. This is my very first piece made with multicoloured sewing thread all tiny chain stitches not perfect but pleased considering I am learning

Over the past couple of months I have been playing with some of the crafts I haven’t been doing for a while. Which including being introduced to the world of circular machine knitting in the hopes of giving the carpel tunnel a rest well that was the idea lol. So over the next few days I will be adding the hats, headbands, scarves, scrunches and let’s not forget the very cute gnome which I have to say I had a lot of fun with. And with luck next is snowmen and fingerless gloves but I will keep you posted.

Well I am trying to clear up in the shop. Why do I have so many pieces started found this piece reminds me of cherry blossom. Bead crochet with toho seed beads on its way to becoming a rope necklace.

Now I have finished bezelled rivoli and right angle weave necklace I thought I would post the completed piece. This is made with galvanised gold seed beads and teal rivoli crystals finished with a gold plated hook clasp. It is 23.5 inch in length and a stunning statement piece of jewellery.

Wip thought I would share what’s on my mat today. Only another couple of inches and the findings to go!

This is one of the pieces I have almost finished. This is a woodburnt table mat that has been hand burnt so each mat is slightly different. I just need to seal this one and finish the last so I have 4 place mats. Over the next couple of weeks all my items for sale will be uploaded to my Facebook shop the link is at the top of the page.
