LACE SUPPLIERS SPOTLIGHT - TONIGHT🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲

It is my last slot of the year starting this evening (Friday) 1800 until Saturday 1800 (GMT)

Having sadly missed the Southern Counties Fair at Havant last weekend due to being poorly, I am pleased to report I feel much better now and busy packing up ready for the Makit LQ and N Fair at the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull, near Birmingham on Saturday 2nd December

Hope to meet some of you there, come and have a chat, I am in the Premier Suite along with my bobbins

When I did my last lace suppliers spotlight I offered some cute stylised ‘wildlife’ being a ladybird, tortoise and sheep who gently proceed from bottom to top of the bobbin.
These proved very popular. Louise West sent a message asking if a hedgehog was available, something I had not thought of and so, after a little practice of design and colouring, he appeared on the page !

I have sent hr order off to Louise this week and hope she will be pleased, I thought others might like one too so here they are !

It will be brilliant to finally attend lace fairs again, I am really looking forward to meeting old friends and new customers too

My lovely flowers bloomed this week which made me feel better as I finally succumbed to the dreaded Covid yesterday and it was so hot on Friday that the paint was dry between the palette and the bobbin so I gave up !
So a few days rest for me

I was shopping this week in a clothes shop and loved the use of pastels and block colours everywhere. The use of these colours is just what we need after and dull and grey winter.

It has inspired me to paint some fabulous bobbins which will be ready for my next Facebook lace suppliers spotlight this weekend starting at 6.00pm on Saturday 21st. Add some colour to your pillow !

Spring has sprung and I am busy taking photos for inspiration even though it has been difficult with the wind and the rain

Some customers have asked about a new year bobbin but maybe not Happy New Year as normal, as things are not normal !
So, I am painting a lightwood or bone bobbin with rainbow stripes and the wording:
"As 2020 finishes, it was no fun
Lets hope for better things in 2021"
