The weather stayed kind for our litter pick walk today, finishing off with a welcome cuppa at the local inn! Well done ladies.

A lovely walk around the woodland and church at Newchurch this morning. Snowdrops are over in the graveyard but daffodils are superb. Finished off the morning with a lovely lunch in the local pub. Brilliant turn out this morning ladies.

Finally celebrated our Centenary +1 on Friday 19th with a 1920's themed party, including a quiz, mulling over old memorabilia, donning our Flapper dresses and dancing the Charleston, playing games and enjoying our afternoon tea, and being joined by some past members and guests. This wonderful delicious cake displaying our events, book club, craft group, walking group and best bloom, was made by member Sue T. We had a great time.

A very big thank you to Holy Cross Church, Binstead for inviting us to their Easter Sunday afternoon tea, and to Sue for making this gorgeous cake, in celebration of our Centenary (plus one) events this year.

Out enjoying the sunshine this morning on our walk from Puckpool to Seaview, stopping off at the Hershey hide and spotting a cormorant and several white grebes amongst others. A lovely spot to sit and watch their comings and goings and then rounding the morning off by refreshments in the cafe.
