Here at shining star studio we have weekly classes of Pilates, yoga, mindfulness and so much more.. I teach adults, children and those with additional needs.
We have a hydrotherapy spa for you to use too, allowing class and spa.. Weekly Pilates, yoga and mindfulness classes. Classes for adults and children for additional needs.. Weekly well-being Wednesdays yoga and Pilates followed by spa coffee and tea �
Weekly special events Thursday or Fridays. Monthly well-being afternoons on Saturdays…
It may be a little rainy out there today but let’s be fair, we do need a little bit of a cool down and some rain every now and again 🤨
However it’s not dampening our spirits!! Classes as normal yoga at 6pm followed by Pilates 7.15pm

I have been teaching Pilates for 20 years, fitness for over 30 🙈 eek that makes me feel old! However we keep on moving and that’s the main thing here 👍🏻

it just makes all that training so worth it in the end 😀
All them lonely training runs in the rain and wind (not to mention running through storm Katherine in the lakes the other week)
Early morning runs.. trying to fit it in around the kids 😬
Sports massages that are brutal (not of the pampered sort we all like 🤣)
Ice packs, foam rolling (pure agony 🙈)
Then throw in the mix of insomnia… just can’t sleep after real long runs!
I Could go on honestly, it’s not just about the marathon day, all the hard works been done just to get to the start line!
However it’s blinking worth it when I see how much we’ve raised once again 🙏❤️🙏

Running for crohns & colitis this year.. a disease close to our family we have seen what an awful disease this truly is… I’ve raised £430 so far 🙏 I cannot thank you all enough..
It was a big ask this year as many have sponsored me the last few years, raising over £2,000
for Ukraine & Parkinson’s
So this year I ran for crohns & colitis 🙏
Please it all adds up, a little goes a long way…
And yes I did ok for the over 50s 🤪 that’s a pb for me this year 🙏

Has your New Year’s resolutions gone to pot already? If this is so, maybe ask yourself why? we put so much pressure on ourselves in January I never understand why?
With realistic goals they may be more achievable? Forcing ourselves to workout harder, daily or even trying a workout that just doesn’t suit will more often than not fail 😕
