Pilot Evening – 24th October 2023

Come along to our pilot evening where we will be discussing certain procedures and RT phraseology for flying at Manchester Barton Aerodrome.

At our pilot evening we will have a presentation covering all areas from flying from the aeroderome to our recent rebranding of the aerodrome.

Topics we are looking to cover will assist pilots for future flights from Barton and help understand the way and which we do things at the aerodrome.

We will also have time at the end for pilots to ask any questions they like.

UNFORTUNATLEY THE WEATHER IS NOT PLAYING BALL THIS WEEKEND WITH HEAVY RAIN FORECAST ACROSS MUCH OF THE UK SO IT HAS BEEN DECIDED TO POSTPONE THIS WEEKEND FLY-IN.

The airfield will be open as usual should anybody wish to drop in.

We will update and communicate a rearranged date once this has been sorted out.

Just a reminder regarding the the Summer Fly-in on July 22nd and 23rd - Although the weather is looking mixed the event/BBQ will go ahead and members are encourage to drive if they prefer.
