The one to one appointments allow me to dedicate all my time and energy just on you, giving you a personal experience, allowing you to get know your beautician/nail tech, making you feel more comfortable and relaxed. Over time we create a special relationship, sharing lots of stories and being there for eachother.

The beauty room has been created to feel professional but also like a home, a place for you to escape to for a quiet and stress free moment in a busy life.

How you feel is important from arrival, to when you leave and that counts for every time you vist. You are special and all my clients feelings are valued.

Most of my clients ask if my family members are at home because they don't see them or it is so quiet. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

You can rest assure that your whole booking time is one to one and uninterrupted. You can sit back comfortably in a private space and feel totally relaxed. 💆‍♀️

Feeling chilly grab a blanket, feeling peckish grab a snack, feeling thirsty have a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of water, need to work pull out your laptop - it's convenient and flexible to work for you. ☕️🍪💻

Change up your skincare routine for autumn with a few simple tweaks to your products. Combat skin sensitivity, dehydration, irritation and breakouts.

1. Dehydrated skin is a common problem in autumn weakening the skin's barrier making it susceptible to external irritants and breakouts. Maintain regular skincare routine and add plenty of hydration.

2. Exfoliation is essential to remove dead skin cells and preventing pore build up but be mindful of the impact to sensitive skin with the changing weather. Opt for gentler exfoliation that protect your skin's barrier and improves it's textures.

3. Use retinoids carefully and at a level that your skin can tolerate. Retinoids can rejuvinate your skin and help with blemishes and blackheads.

4. Keep targeted blemish treatments to hand to avoid breakouts from the cooler weather.

5. Protect your skin from pollution with pollution protection skincare products.

Sorry but not sorry to mention Christmas 🎄😁.

It will be upon us before we know it and to help you prepare and plan ahead below is a table of how many appointments are left leading to Christmas.

I have worked the gaps between treatments as an average for each person, for example nails every 2 - 3 weeks, some of you may be able to stretch to 4 if you are one of the lucky ones.

I have also started at this week so depending when you choose to book, you may have less treatments to fit in leading to Christmas.

Change of season means a change in your nail care routine. The cooler, drier weather can have an impact on the health and appearance of your nails. 💅

Here are some essential autumn nail care tips to help you keep your nails beautiful and strong throughout the season. 🍂

The drop in humidity during autumn can lead to dry and brittle nails. The best way to avoid this is to keep your cuticles well hydrated by using cuticle oil and nail serum. Lock in moisture and prevent your nails drying out by applying a rich hand and foot cream daily. You can even apply balm on your feet at bed time and wear socks at night and this will act as a hydrated mask. 🦶

Maintain your nails at a good length and shape to prevent breakages and to keep your nails looking neat. Avoid harsh filing and use the correct nail file grit to avoid weakening the nails.

Always wear gloves when doing household chores or gardening to shield your nails from harsh chemicals and dirt. Also avoid soaking your nails in water for prolonged periods of time which can dehydrate the skin and nails.

Avoid using nails as tools to open containers or perform tasks that could lead to chipping or breakages.

When wearing nail strengthener be sure to choose one without formaldehyde because this ingredient can make nails brittle over time. 😀

Autumn is the perfect time to recover skin hydration before the winter sets in.
