‘Spotlight on Sleep’ is the focus of my next Menopause Workshop on 24th February at Ashtorre Rock in Saltash. We will discuss issues in a women’s circle and bring together our own experiences and solutions. I’ll suggest routines to adopt which can aid sleep and explain why they are useful. Enjoy two yoga sessions – one for a gentle settling sequence before bedtime, and another which allows for deep relaxation, with breathwork as an integral feature of both sessions. An essential oils routine, led by Jackie, will help to calm the mind and body. We will touch on journalling to record sleep patterns and emotions, and you will leave with a useful goody bag to help support your sleep progress once you are home.

Fabulous Menopause Workshop held at Ashtorre Rock yesterday with 10 lovely ladies. We packed in a Women's Circle, Jackie's fragrant Essential Oils, Mary-Ella's accessible and deeply relaxing Yoga session, followed by thought provoking information from foodie Jane Hutton about nutrition to support health and well being.
With thanks to everyone who took part, openly sharing their stories and experiences. We couldn't have hoped for a better first Workshop and amazing collaboration between different disciplines, for a truly holistic approach.
Looking forward to the next one to be held in February/March time when we will be focusing on specific areas to help women of all ages to navigate their way through the Menopause. A thoroughly uplifting experience.
Contact Mary-Ella at KernowYoga or Jackie Taylor for more information about the next workshop. Look for Eventbrite information and relevant Facebook sites.

This week, I decided that I wanted to dedicate both of my yoga classes, in sentiment and monetary value, to the Gaza Crisis Appeal. https://www.oxfam.org/en/what-we-do/emergencies/gaza-crisis-appeal
I'd like to thank all students from both classes who very kindly supported this charitable cause and generously donated.
Together we have raised a whopping £140, which, matched with Gift Aid went up to £175.
We will have made a difference to some people's lives.

We used the 8 oils of the AromaTouch kit support for our immune system, our nervous system and our muscular system.

7.30-8.30pm
Come along and try out my 3 taster sessions on Thursday evenings, starting this week, 12th January, continuing on 26th January and 9th February.
I am hoping to make this a permanent weekly slot, with an evening choice yet to be decided. So don't worry if you can't make these particular sessions. Call me to say you are interested, and which evening you would like to see yoga taking place.
The Community Kitchen is conveniently located on the main bus route on Fore Street, Saltash, with both bus stops very close by.
My aim to ensure that this class is inclusive in terms of cost, accessibility, challenge and gender choice. There will be a number of subsidised places available for students, so please call me if you need to discuss. Classes cost £9, but once a regular weekly slot exists, half termly block bookings will cost £7.50 each.
This class offers Hatha style poses and flowing yoga sequences, encouraging movement for everybody to benefit from, regardless of fitness or experience. Beginners are very welcome, as well as those with more experience or ability.
Bring a mat if you have one, or you can borrow one from me. Blocks and straps are provided. Don't forget your blanket for relaxation at the end of the session.

YOGA CLASSES - PAY WHAT YOU CAN
Struggling to pay for classes? Would like to do yoga but can't justify the cost?
I understand that right now money is tight, and my drop in classes usually cost £9 per session. However, yoga should be relieving people's stress, not adding to it. Therefore, up to Christmas, I am offering 'pay what you can afford classes'.
Come along this week and enjoy a yoga class in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. No experience needed, beginners welcome. You will need to book your class to ensure there is a place for you, so call Mary-Ella on 07983 976605.
