Great night tonight with Rock and Roll Bingo, a chance to combine your knowledge of music with the fun of bingo!!! Starting at 8.30pm to give people chance to treat themselves to tea out with our food service available from 5pm till 8.45.
The bingo is £3.00 per game and cash prizes will be available based on numbers playing. A great way to spend an Autumn evening. 😍🍻🍷

Today, Jazz North announces the seven promoters awarded bursaries to present emerging artists in their programmes through its support scheme, New Northern.

Bursaries up to £1000 were awarded to the North West Music Academy (Barrow-in-Furness), Paul Rigby (The Continental, Preston), Nanette Brimble (YardFest, Saltaire), Anna Ross (Offshoots in Leeds), Robert Walker (Scarborough Jazz), DJ Lubi (Leeds) and Wesley Stephenson’s New Jazz and Improvised Music Recordings (Newcastle-upon-Tyne). The bursaries will support fees and costs for northern emerging artists and support acts

Doors are at 7:45pm and the music begins 8:15pm. £5 in - half if you're under 18 or in full time education.

Every Thursday at 8pm join the fun and play Rock and Roll bingo.

Update: After a fab letter sent by Chris Prawn and read out on The Chris Moyles Show on radio X, our total is now creeping up and we are on a potential £35,000 with more to come but still need as many pledges as we can to ensure The Cask remains in the community under community ownership. Please keep those pledges coming.

Update now we can see how we are doing towards our target. Weekly photos to let people know and see if we can raise the temperature. 🌡

We now have our fundraising thermometer and have reached over £25000 already but need your support to keep that mercury rising and achieving the community bid to secure the building purchase. Please share as widely as possible and support the bid to protect this venue for future generations. ❤️❤️
