Wow…. The improvements being made by the players is incredible. Very happy coaches.

Our 1️⃣st Netball Tournament!
SNC hosted a friendly, fun, participation tournament at St augustines secondary school
We had an absolute blast 💥
Thank you to Ryedale Junior Netball and Hull KR Netball for attending. The weather stayed mainly dry and warm.
Every player left smiling 😊 and that’s what it is all about. No finals/trophies/certificates. Therefore no pressure! For some players this was their first time ever playing a real match.
Thank you to the parents who supported the event and bought cakes & sweets. We raised £100!
As always it couldn’t happen without the AMAZING SNC team and coaches. Thanks Gemma, Charlotte D, Charlotte S and Hattie
Thank you to Maggie for opening and closing the courts on a Saturday.

We are not stopping for food/tea so please bring approapriate food but this cannot be consumed in the arena.
Face paints, Ronnie the Rhino, and activities are on arrival.
Tickets are with Hayley and will be given out at the arena.

We love netball
We are two teachers who have responded to the community to offer more netball and training outside of school. We have decided to volunteer our time and set up a trial netball training and games session. The netball training sessions are for 7-14 year olds and there is no experience needed. Each session will be £3 and help to cover the costs of sports hall and equipment.
After the summer term, we trialled 12 weeks of junior training and we were surprised at the amount of players we had. As coaches we really enjoyed coaching the young players and have decided to continue training in Autumn 2018. Monday at Scarborough Sixth Form College, 4.30-5.30 is for primary school (age 7-11) and 5.30-6.30 is for secondary school (age 11-14)
We will aiming to play 7-a-side netball rather than High 5 so we can feed the older participants into the Scarborough Netball League when they turn start Year 10 at school - aged 14. This is primarily for girls in the first instance.
Hayley Watson and Charlotte Sixsmith are just two PE teachers and netball coaches who have been inundated with requests for junior netball. For several years we haven’t been able to do anything but now we can offer the community junior netball.
