At one of our schemes tenants learned how to cook fish pie this week. They used white fish, salmon, squid, mussels, crab, chili prawns, and smoked fish to make the pie, which they served alongside parsley side, green beans, cheese and crusty bread and butter.

They loved their food and still had some left over for the next day.

Beautiful and creative art pieces created by some of our tenants. These beautiful mural designs are themed friendship and kindness.

Two of our tenants have been putting their carpentry skills to good use to create a bench for their accommodation.

They transformed some old pallets into a bench for the back garden so all the residents can enjoy sitting out in the sunshine.

It is a safe space for people to connect, bond over a cup of tea and link with others in their community.

The Pop up living room provided an opportunity for people to stop by to chat, relax and de-
stress.

Last week, we had our yearly Horton Housing conference. It was such a interactive time to meet with different staff members from various services across different cities.

We watched our team come together, share ideas, and build stronger bonds reminding us why we do what we do.

Horton Housing Association is a not-profit organisation that provides housing, training and support across Bradford, Calerdale, Kirklees and North Yorkshire.

We provide accommodation, drop-in, floating support, street outreach, training across our various services.

Our wellbeing bags are available to borrow for free at libraries across North Yorkshire.

They are aimed at boosting mental health and can be borrowed by groups or individuals to use at home, in the library or out in the community.

Contents include playing cards, a stress ball and notebook, along with a different colouring book, jigsaw puzzle and puzzle book.
