Tommy time this week, we have had bus rides, haircuts, play dates, swimming, fish feeding and good old little street. My work here is done. Nursery tomorrow please 🙏 😂. Looking after toddlers is more tiring than work. Hurry up Leisure centre and please reopen soon. 🤣 💙
Since the closure of Sencio sevenoaks leisure centre I feel like I’ve lost my spark a bit. I have such a passion for group fitness and I really miss the members in my classes and my instructor family, so in hope they find a solution soon, I’m taking a step back and focusing on me for a bit, Spending time with my little boy and fur baby and continuing my fitness journey strengthening my back and maybe finding those AB’s I’ve been searching for many years 😂. Turning 46 this year I’m going to face many changes in my body and will have to accept what my body is able to do. So hopefully I can strengthen my body so that I can carry on doing the things I love. Luckily I still have a few classes to keep me busy and stop the flame from going out. I’ll be back in full force very soon I hope, stronger and fitter than before, Stay in touch and follow me on my page to see if I ever find my AB’s 😂😂

My morning smoothie to start my day..I always find it hard to eat first thing, so this sets me up to teach my classes that I do in the morning. This has all the energy I need.

▪️swing, curl, press
▪️kettlebell squat
▪️kettlebell swing
▪️halos alternate each time
▪️sit up press
1st round 21 reps, then take 3 off each time…
21,18,15,12,9,6,3. Set the timer and see how long it takes you. Good luck 💪🏋️♀️

Hey everyone, it’s nearly the weekend how about a little something to start it off. Simple no weights needed.
5 exercises
▪️squats
▪️push ups
▪️side lunge with knee lift ( Both sides)
▪️sit ups
▪️tricep dips
Complete 20 reps of each, then repeat again and drop 2 reps off each time till you get to 2 reps at the end. 20, 18, 16 and so on.
Set a timer to see your end result. Then try again a week later and see if you can beat your last time. Good luck, let me know how you get on.

Let’s talk about our amazing bodies. Having my son gave me a whole new level of appreciation for my body and the things it’s able to do, but like many I found I didn’t recognise the body starring back at me in the mirror. Getting my level of fitness (and body) back has been an ongoing journey and it didn’t just happen overnight!! Chuck in a global pandemic and juggling being a mum, definitely set me back but with hard work, determination and being kind to myself I’m where I am now. What’s been the hardest thing you’ve had to overcome in your fitness journey?

Here’s a little something to kickstart your week which starts tomorrow..or get over a heavy weekend in my case 😂😂.
Try this at home, no equipment needed.
5 exercises, 40 secs on 20 secs rest.
1 - burpees (2 options)
2 - jump squat to jump lunge combo
3 - mountain climbers
4 - backward stepping lunge with hop (20 secs R, 20 secs L)
5 - star jumps or air jacks.
Repeat 4 rounds if you can. This will definitely get the heart pumping and those calories burnt.

Hello everyone, I hope your enjoying the sunshine. Here’s a little core workout for you to do either as a finisher of a workout or just on its own.
30 secs each exercise
10 secs rest
➡️ plank toe tap
➡️ bicycle crunch
➡️ 2 pulse crunch into full crunch
➡️ mountain climbers
➡️ plank (2 options)
Repeat 2/3 rounds. More if you have time. Then next time you do it increase the time to 40 secs and work for longer.

Star jumping into the weekend like....
For any of you that don’t know me, I’m a fitness trainer, mum to a toddler (and a fur baby!) and I love a glass of vino and dancing to old school dance music. I’ve been into fitness for over 10 years and this love of fitness and how it made me feel quickly led me to give up my corporate day job as a mortgage broker and retrain as a fitness trainer. Since then I’ve run outdoor bootcamps, taught Les Mills, aerobics and a number of other classes, coached clients on a 1-2-1 basis and studied further to become a specialist in pre and post-natal fitness. After taking time out from teaching to have my son and Covid putting a bit of a spanner in the works for all of us, I’m now super excited to get back to what I LOVE full time and share this journey with you all! Group classes will be starting from the beginning of June, but if you fancy something a bit more personalised then please drop me a message.
