πππ An Epic Adventure! πππ
Imagine the thrill of embarking on your maiden train voyage or venturing out solo for the first time! π
Our South Asian escapade took us in a whirlwind tour of ancient marvels, from the Indus Valley to the colonial legacies of South Asia.
Evergreeny was our time machine, making history a lively and delightful spectacle! π

Using Our Local Facilities! πβ₯οΈπ
Visiting the library is a favourite pastime for us. Exploring the vast collection of books on rainforest animals was an enlightening experience. We delved into the world of colorful birds, majestic big cats, and fascinating insects, learning about their habitats and behaviors.
The library's resources provided us with a wealth of knowledge, and we left feeling inspired and eager to continue our research. In addition to the valuable information we gathered, the peaceful ambiance of the library allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in our studies. The quiet hum of pages turning and occasional whispers created the perfect atmosphere for concentration and reflection.
As we wrapped up our day at the library, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the local facilities that offer such enriching experiences.
From the welcoming staff to the vast array of resources, our community library truly is a
treasure trove waiting to be explored. We look forward to our next visit, eager to discover
more wonders within its wall πππ

In the meadows of Evergreeny, the buzz of magic filled the air as the legendary
Beekeeper of Aleppo Ryad Alsous graced us with his presence!!!! ππππ
For six weeks, his wisdom was our elixir, and his teachings our manuscript, as we delved into the enchanting ways of
beekeeping. From the smallest child to the wisest elder, we were all entranced,
discovering the secrets of bees and the bounty they bring.
Our theme of the term was bees, and under the Beekeeper's guidance, we delved into the wonders of nectar, royal jelly, propolis, and more. With each passing day, we grew in knowledge and proficiency, spinning our very own honey, crafting candles and soaps, and becoming certified beekeepers ourselves.
But this was not just a journey of beekeeping. It was a voyage of discovery, of connection, and of community. We laughed, we learned, we shared, and we bonded, all while exploring the beauty of nature. The Beekeeper's visit brought us closer together, reminding us of the beauty of learning from each other and from the earth.
As our journey came to a close, we were filled with gratitude, knowing that this experience had touched our souls and transformed us forever. We looked upon the world with new eyes, seeing the vital role that bees play in our ecosystem and the importance of protecting them. We left the meadows of Evergreeny with a newfound appreciation for these tiny creatures, and a desire to spread awareness and love for beekeeping

π΅πΈβ₯οΈ Palestinian Home - Ed week β₯οΈπ΅πΈ
At Evergreeny, we believe in creating a holistic learning environment that nurtures every
child's growth. Palestinian Week was a perfect example of this philosophy in action. Our
team of dedicated teachers came up with a comprehensive curriculum that covered various aspects of Palestinian culture, from the country's rich history to its contemporary challenges π
The students were fully involved in the learning process, showing great enthusiasm and
curiosity. We were particularly impressed by their poetry recitals and the STEM activities
they participated in. These sessions not only helped them develop their skills but also gave
them a glimpse into the world of science and technology. The children had the opportunity to express and discuss their thoughts and feelings about the topic while participating in various activities. They even had the chance to showcase their public speaking skills, which was a great accomplishment for them π΅πΈ
The extracurricular activities organized by the parents were also a big hit. The children had a
blast making bookmarks and badges, and it was heartwarming to see them showcase their creativity and teamwork ππΌ
As a wrap up of our first Home-ed term, we are thrilled to have such a positive community behind us. We are grateful to the parents who have entrusted us with their children's education and to the well - wishers who have cheered us on every step of the way. We hope that this week has instilled a sense of love, hope and learning in our students, and we'll see you soon! β₯οΈ

Matters
A whole week dedicated to Climate...
π πβ»οΈ Climate Lab week β»οΈππ !!!
We turned into Climate researches, we took action, we also met our special guest Tim the Tortoise who kindly took some time to pay us a visit!!! ππ’
We want our voices to count, for change that is impossible to ignore!! So we wrote letters to ask our local MP Clive Betts to take action on Climate change on our behalf. Our letters are in the post and we would love to hear back!! π
Some of us also wrote letters to tomorrow - to our loved ones to explain our hopes for future generations if our leaders step up to protect the environment and fears about what life could be like if we don't slow down climate change int he future to call for political action on Climate change.
We researched sea turtles and and learnt how they mistake plastic for prey because they smell like food, scientists have found. These creatures visually mistake polythene debris for food such as jelly fish!
Do you ever look at random objects (upcycling at it's best) and think that would make a really great.....WILDBEEST???!!!! Our 3-D Jellyfish was born!!! Thanks to Scrapdragon for all the materials and reels n reels of ribbons π
Our imaginations have been firing on all cylinders so the answer to our question is, TOTALLY yes. Which means you're in good shape because people who have really active imaginations live longer! π
We ended with a wonderful activity that encourages kids to care for the environment and understand they can make a BIG difference!
We went on a litter - picking adventure which seemed like a alot of fun to teach them about the devastating effects litter has on our environment.
It was an immersive, action packed and fun exploration of our world, ways we can protect it and some goals to become plastic free ambassadors ππΌ
As always, we appreciate and give thanks to all our partners for entrsuting us with creating such opportunities for our children in Darnall. Sheffield Parks and Countryside
