SAGE are delighted to announce that we've been awarded 3 years of half our core costs from the Henry Smith charity. Great recognition for the work we do.

A Happy New Year from Sheila, Helen and Andrea. Here we are on the allotment today, looking forward to the growing season and lots of great sessions with our members in 2024.

We were all shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of Chris Marriott. Our thoughts are with his family and friends, and the Burngreave community.

Mikron are coming back to Grimesthorpe!

Mikron are returning to the Grimesthorpe allotments. SAGE will be selling refreshments, and we're hoping Dean will be able to do hot dogs 🌭. All welcome.

Our Arts Council funded project "stone soup " gets underway next week. We're excited about working with local artist and art therapist Emilie Taylor to offer people the opportunity to explore the benefits of creativity on their mental health.

Our Arts Council funded project Stone Soup gets underway next week. Based on the folk tale showing the power of collaboration, 10 people are getting together on our lovely allotment with a local artist and art therapist Emilie Taylor. They will be working with clay, baking bread and making soup. The project will culminate with an exhibition in September. Watch this space for updates.

SAGE are hiring. We're looking for a pt temp arts support worker for our Arts Council funded "stone soup "project. Working with a local artist/potter Emilie Taylor the project includes making, decorating and firing pots, a celebratory meal, a film and exhibition. Initially 10 Fridays from 17.3.2023, with more sessions to be agreed up to the exhibition in September. Exciting times at SAGE over the next few months. We are having a major refurbishment of our main site courtesy of a £24,000 grant from the Wolfson Foundation.
Once the work is completed, we're hosting an arts project "Bread and Clay" with another £24,000 grant from the Arts Council.
