Happy Halloween! 🎃
We had such a great time at our Wellbeing Cafe Halloween party, check out the awesome costumes and face painting (done by our very own Tanita)! 👻
Last month, one of our fantastic Employment Coaches took a young person to attend the South Yorkshire Police recruitment event at Niagara Centre. 🤩
He has a keen interest in joining the front line and this was the first careers event he had been too. He was very anxious and didn't know what to expect, but he did fantastic by the end of the event, asking lots of questions to get some direction on how to get into the police. 👮♂️
There were drone demonstrations, police dog demonstrations and they got the chance to see the different equipment that is used in tackling different crimes on different scales, as well as hearing some real crime stories from those at the forefront of the force. They also got an insight of what different departments do within the force. And, as you can see, got to meet the majestic police horses. 🐴
If you are not in training, education or employment and are ready to start looking, our Employment Coaches are here to help you! Check out the employment page on our website to find out more and make a referral. 😊
