The climax of our fantastic Horus Heresy Escalation League looms large, with July at 2000pts marking the end of a journey. As we prepare for the final jump to full size, join us for the penultimate takeover night this coming Wednesday 19th June, where we'll be waging war with 1,750 points of Heretical awesomeness! (Or possibly Loyalist degeneracy, but who are we to judge?)

Planning to come along? We'd love to know what Legion / Forge World / Branch of the Solar Auxilia you'll be repping, so please let us know in the comments. If you've got a picture of your force you'd like to share, we'd love to see that too!

Now is the perfect time to get into airbrushing, here at Element Games Sheffield we've been asked frequently about the best way to get into airbrushing so we thought we'd help out.
You can come into store or contact us through our social media and we can get you set and ready to go with our instore setup. Demo's will be available Monday to Friday, afternoon and evening so why not come and have a go?

We've been hard at work in the Direct Only Mines getting the sought after models and accessories for the various game systems you love!
This week we've managed to strike gold and have found some Common Magic Items reference cards for The Old World which are now available from Element Games Sheffield.
You can also find lots of new Orcs & Goblins Characters and Units, including Wolf Rider Bosses, Big'uns, Trolls and Ogre Bulls.

Here at Element Sheffield, we're very excited for the new Darkoath releases! We've got the new Dawnbringers box ready to go, along with marauders on foot and mounted, the mounted chieftain, Brand's Oathband, not to mention Krethusa and Sekhar from the previous wave of Dawnbringers! Phew, what an extensive selection of products! Poor Ben's got an overloaded moped! Help him out by coming and taking some of these products off our hands once they hit shelves tomorrow!

Everybody loves a diorama! Here at Element Sheffield, you'll doubtless have seen some fine examples of the art form in our display cabinet, and they're always popular entries in our painting competitions. If you've ever fancied having a go at one yourself, well, we've got all the tools and supplies you could need! From texture rollers to Milliput, and grass tufts to graffiti decals, there's everything you need to bring your vision to life.

Looking for inspiration? We've got half a dozen high quality dioramas from members of our fantastically talented hobby community to really get those creative synapses firing! Everything from a drunk dwarf being carried home from the pub, to the desperate last stand of a Space Marine fending off inhuman Genestealers, you might be surprised at what's possible.

Hard to believe it's been a week since you last shared your hobby progress with us, and yet here we are!

This week, Simon has mostly been talking about our upcoming Murder in the Moot tournament for Old World, and obsessively painting Orcs and Goblins! With a brand-new warboss standing beside an old favourite, and a Goblin shaman moving on to a bigger base size!

It's a busy month for our takeover communities, with a practical feast of events so that any player can find something to enjoy!

We're gearing up for our first Crusade Club evening this Wednesday, with tables free for anyone to come down and play against fellow crusaders and get some campaigns going!

And then, the end of our Horus Heresy Slow Grow draws near, with the penultimate month upon us! We'll be hosting our Horus Heresy Takeover on Wednesday the 19th at 1750pts.

Finally, we're continuing our Old World Escalation League, now at 1000 points! For anyone looking at just joining, or getting in their game for the month, mark Monday the 24th of June in your calendars for some rank n' flank action!

Whatever game you're looking for this month, we look forward to seeing some carnage in our game space!

We're running a Bring & Play of everyone's favourite Fantasy Football game until 17:30 today, free of charge! That's right, no matter whether you've booked a table for it, we've got guaranteed space for Blood Bowl players to enjoy a few casual games of brutal fun.

Our first Blood Bowl casual day is taking place this Sunday! This is a no-ticket event, we're just welcoming anyone who wants to bring down their team and take part!

Whether you prefer to outscore or outfight your opponents, we're looking forward to welcoming you!

It's a Historic day here at Element Sheffield! We're delighted to tell you that, thanks to those hard-working folk down at we've got even more historically-accurate products for you! So without further ado, let's tell you what's new in store...

First off, we've got the Prussians for BP Epic Battles. These pioneers of "fashionably late" follow up the recent arrivals of British and French to the battlefield, with the full range now in stock.

Jumping forward in time, we've also managed to secure stock of the eagerly anticipated new full-plastic US Rangers box, which includes optional heads to represent the actors in the classic Saving Private Ryan movie. We've also got the new metal blister packs of Forward Observer and War Dogs teams, along with Howitzers and Anti-tank guns.

Finally, sticking with the Second World War, we're also now stocking the card packs for anyone wanting to use their Bolt Action tanks in the fantastic new Achtung Panzer game (which we're also running free demos of in store), with national packs for the British, Americans, Soviets and Germans. We've also got bundle packs, which give you all four national sets for slightly more than the cost of two individual ones. A pretty fantastic deal, we're sure you'll agree!

It's perfect weather for starting a new game system here at Element Games Sheffield so why not journey to a galaxy far far away? If you want heroic lightsaber battles and tense mission based showdowns Shatterpoint could be the game you're looking for.

Waaagh! We're gearing up here for the first takeover night of our Old World escalation league! There's still time to sign up and get your game in for the first month, which ends and the end of May. And just as a reminder, if you play at least one league game in store every month, you'll qualify for the £5 voucher and free tournament entry at the end.

We're starting at 800pts, we've already had the first couple of games played, so be sure to come on down if you want to take part!

Our final ever 3rd edition AoS Tournament is well under way here at Element Games Sheffield. It's been one hell of a ride but we're beyond excited to start playing 4th edition, so get your armies tournament ready!
