🟡⚫️Spearhead Event⚫️🟡

Next month, we are hosting a relaxed Spearhead tournament on 12th October.

We've had a lot of new players trying out Spearhead since it's release, so to make this event accessible to new players there is no painting requirements to take part.

🟡⚫️Fantasy Fellowship⚫️🟡

We are working on starting up a Fantasy Fellowship campaign in store, starting 23rd October.

In this campaign, you will make your own fellowship of your favourite heroes to attempt the quest to destroy The One Ring.

This campaign can be played with the actual fellowship, a fellowship made up of Thorin's Company, or a complete mix of heroes from across Middle Earth.

The first scenario will be The Weathertop, where your heroes, standing in for Aragorn and the four Hobbits, will face off against five Ringwraiths.

Each scenario will be in store for a month before being replaced by the next, giving players plenty of time to get their game in.

It's our weekly Magic the Gathering Draft Night tonight. This week, our players have a choice of sets to pick from; from Bloomburrow, Brothers War, Lost Caverns of Ixalan and Murders at Karlov Manor.

At £12 per player for entry, which gets you 3 boosters to draft with and 1 into the Prize pool, it is a great way for players to build their collection.

With the new edition of kill team on the horizon, I've taken a short break in painting hordes of infantry for my Solar Auxilia army and have instead opted for a much smaller project... behold, the first edition to my Traitor Kasrkin Kill team. Was really nice to actually be able to spend a few hours on a single model.

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH - Bubs!

It's been a busy first few weeks on the job for Bubs, getting her nose stuck in and really becoming part of the team (she takes fewer breaks than Tam now...) She's worked hard to learn the ropes (and not chew them), we've been really impressed with her paws to the floor attitude. She's sniffed our customers out some tail wagging deals, great customer service, Bubs! She's impressed us so much that we would be barking mad not to award her Employee of the Month.

Be sure to give her a belly rub and some treats when you're next at The Outpost - Bubs sure deserves it after all she's done since joining the team.

🟡⚫️Duskmourn Prerelease⚫️🟡

The newest Magic The Gathering Set is here, inspired by 70s 80s and 90s Horror films.

The world of Duskmourn consists of a giant haunted mansion filled with horrors and ruled by a demon called Valgavoth.

In tonight's prerelease event, players will open their packs, which contains:
- 6 booster packs
- 1 foil rare of mythic
- 1 code card for Magic Arena
- 1 deck box
- 1 spindown life counter

From these packs players will construct a 40 card deck to play against other players in a relaxed event, where I'll be on hand to help with deck building and any rules questions.

Prerelease events are the perfect place to start playing magic, as it's an event for everyone to try out the new cards for the first time.

Tickets are now available for our next big Middle Earth Event, The Rings of Power, which will be a 90 point scoring event for The Great British Hobbit League (the UK wide tournament scene).

This event will have players bringing 750 point armies to fight over the 19 Rings of Power, each granting the wearing powerful effects.

One such Ring is Narya, The Ring of Fire which gives the wearer the following - Friendly models within 12" automatically pass any courage tests they are required to make and gain resistance to magic

There will be a number of Middle Earth themed prizes up for grabs, with awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, wooden spoon, best sporting, best painted (good), best painted (evil) and The Lord of the Rings (for the player who collects the most Rings over the weekend).

There are only 30 places for this event so grab your ticket soon to avoid disappointment.
