BIG NEWS!!

If you’ve been to the shop recently, you will have heard this first hand, but here is our official announcement:

WE ARE MOVING!!

After nearly 4 amazing years at we have made the decision to spread our wings even further and take the next step to keep growing and expanding our q***r-dedicated space. We will be closing our doors at the end of this week (Saturday 8th April) and the next time we open them will be in our new space. (We’re aiming for the 19th 😁)

So where is it?

We’re taking over what used to be Mothers Ruin Tattoo Collective on Commercial Street. It’s a 9min walk from Sheffield station, a 6min walk from the bus interchange, and a 1min walk from Fitzalan Square tram stop, just round the corner from Ponds Forge.
(Mothers Ruin can now be found on Campo Lane)

AND it won’t just be us… so far we have Kaira from .planet joining us for all your buzzy drawing needs, and opening a boutique recording studio 😁 honestly don’t know how this place could get any cooler…

We hope to see you there, and can’t wait to get started!

Merry Christmas, Joyous Yule, and a Happy 25th of December from all of us at Casa del Snipsnipp 🎄

We’re back open from the 28th til the 31st for all those NYE trims, so see you then 😁

CAN YOU BELIEVE it’s been THREE years since Mr Snipsnipp’s doors first opened??

And what a mad three years it’s been… starting off in a little unit with just one chair, getting through all the way til March, then somehow not starving to death in the first lockdown, and then opening up in a bigger unit with Gabriel by my side… a year later, taking on Luke as a trainee. So now we’ve had over a year together as the best team I ever could have dreamed of. I honestly never imagined my little idea could have grown and blossomed so much. Thank you to all of you who helped make that happen.

If you wanna celebrate with us, this is an open invitation to come and get drunk with us at this coming Saturday (23rd July- Tramlines weekend)

It’d be bloody lovely to see you!

Howdy all! As the world keeps changing, and things like rent, food and energy bills keep getting more expensive, it is with some regret that we will have to be increasing our prices.

We have talked as a team, and decided amongst ourselves on using a tiered price system based on our relative experience to keep our services accessible for everyone, as that has always been our aim as a q***r space. We also took into consideration the length of time spent on each cut; we pride ourselves on perfecting our work, and make sure to take the time to guarantee no one feels rushed through 😊

New prices are:

Cuts with Luke - Junior Barber
Short hair- £15
Long hair- £18
Beard Trim or Wet Shave- £13

Cuts with Gabriel - Barber
Short hair- £22
Long hair- £25
Beard Trim or Wet Shave- £19

Cuts with Charlie - Senior Barber
Short Hair- £25
Long Hair- £28
Beard Trim or Wet Shave- £22

Gabriel will still be offering a student discount alongside his cuts, and we will still be doing combo deals for hair + beard services.

We understand the Christmas period is tight, so Gabriel ( ) is continuing to offer the student discount, and as some extra good news, Luke ( ) has moved up a level, and will be offering a further discount as a Junior Barber: just scroll down to the “Junior Barber Haircuts” options at the bottom of the Booksy booking page to make the most of them 😁

As always at this time of year, when you book in, please either choose the earliest or the latest appointment available; this means we can avoid unnecessary gaps on the app, and everyone can get in for their Christmas trims.
