Funk My Disco, statement:
James Worrall and Ian Hudson will be parting ways on Sunday the 28th July.

James Worrall will take the name Funk My Disco and continue to put on parties, but using new branding.

Ian Hudson will be running a new night called The Art of House, which will use the branding he has created, under a new name.

This page will be closing down, but we want to give you the opportunity to follow and like our new pages, so we will post links to all new pages in the coming days and we hope you will continue to support both brands in the future.

Thank you to everyone who has danced with us, been to our parties, listened to our mixes and been part of our journey so far. This isn’t the end, just the start of two new nights for you to enjoy in the City of Sheffield.

Funk My Disco will be topping the bill once more at Devonshire Green Festival 24 August 12 noon - 8pm.

Once more Ian, James and the crew will be flipping those trendy tunes with an unforgettable style and quirkiness.

Nicola from Little Hummingbird Events said “it’s such a big deal for us to get these guys back again - they are simply a gang of super talents and are climbing quickly on the Sheffield music scene - if it wasn’t for our close friend JDJeweller for the intro we wouldn’t have them involved and I wouldn’t know there was even another Ian Hudson in the world besides my husband Ian Hudson lol - we are simply thrilled to have them on board - both Ian and James are integral to what we do with music at The Forum”.

Ian and James will be working closely with Simon and the DJ team at Forum Sheffield - I am sure you will agree they did the most incredible job last time. Big thanks guys.

Our first sold out event. We danced on the terrace and inside at sunset. We can’t wait to do it again with new and old friends we have met, at all the cool venues we have partied at. It ends up full circle back at Alder this july.

As the 🪩Funk My Disco🪩 1st birthday bash draws closer, we’re pleased to announce the DJ’s who’ll be ripping up the Pioneers on Saturday the 12th October & Boxing Day 🟦🟥

We have another award winner for you in the form of Graham Gee, who we tried to book at the beginning of the year, but it didn’t quite work out date wise. He received the best radio show 2023 👏🏻

Onto Boxing Day, we’ve got a due for you who are regulars on PCR Radio & The Beatherder Festival: Uptown Funk. These guys are going to bring you some of the funkiest tunes around.

Both parties are to be held at the new cool and quirky Zephr Bar Sheffield 🟦🟥

Due to the success of our very first family festival on Devonshire Green, Sheffield, Little Hummingbird Events are thrilled to announce we are doing it all again !!!

In collaboration with Forum Sheffield and Sheffield City Council, we bring to you once more a family inclusive day full of music, food, shopping, drink and social activity on 24 August from noon till 8pm.

Whilst we had fabulous feedback from all involved - we are making changes in order to tighten up and liven up the day, and all done to keep you safe and happy and enjoing this free family event.
