Fantastic Fridays are back!

Each Friday in the Summer Holidays we will be hosting some fabulous Free Fun events! Starting this Friday 26th July with DC Superheroes!

Following on from last year’s hugely popular Marvel Universe event this Friday you can come and meet the fantastic characters from the world of DC Superheroes!

DC Comics have a stable of great, iconic heroes on their roster, including some of the best, coolest, and most powerful cartoon characters of all time. This is your chance to meet fantastic lookalikes - Batman, Superman, The Flash and Supergirl!

Plus to make the day complete we’ll have FREE photos printed for visitors to take away, a glitter tattooist and balloon modeller with superhero designs, and a Superheroes Craft Workshop!

If you remember The Children’s Hospital Charity Bears of Sheffield art trail (3 years ago!) you might remember the lovely bears we hosted, including Edwina Kung’s “Story of Treeman”.

Edwina’s beautiful work will be joining us once again for the Art for All project commencing Monday 22nd July & we can’t wait for you to view the intricate details of it!

Drawing inspiration from her own experiences as well as those of others, she creates these inner-head drawings that illustrate the way we connect through sharing stories.

This canvas & over 60 others will be on display at Peaks over the Summer with each piece being up for grabs via raffle. Tickets will be £2 each & will be in aid of the amazing Bright Young Dreams campaign in support of Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity 💛

AA Record Fairs will be bringing their popular CD & Record Fair back to Crystal Peaks this Saturday, between 9am and 4pm.

We’re over the moon to show you a sneak peek of this incredible canvas by international artist Nick Douillard.

You might recognise Nick’s work from some of his viral videos on social media.

Through colourful and strange looking blobs with eyes and teeth, artist Nick Douillard brings joy to people. He loves to experiment with many different materials and techniques in the hope of inspiring people to try art themselves.

Jon’s canvas plus 60 more will be on display in the central & up for grabs via raffle with donations going to support Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity ’s Bright Young Dreams campaign.

Jon Richardson joined The Children's Hospital Charity as a patron in December 2021.

Jon explained: "I am honoured to have been asked to join The Children's Hospital Charity as a patron. The hospital is held in such high regard not just locally but with children travelling from all over the country and around the world for specialist care.

"I will do all I can to support their work in any way that I can and to give thanks to their incredible staff, who dedicate their lives to helping children and their families at a time of need. I am in awe of all of them and all those who serve the NHS."

How absolutely gorgeous is this canvas created by Zoe Genders?

Zoe is an artist based in Sheffield & has worked in a range of creative roles from being a prop maker for children’s tv at the BBC to painting large scale murals!

We love this smaller scale canvas & you’ll be able to see it in full from Monday 22nd July at Crystal Peaks in the central atrium.

It will also be up for grabs via raffle along with the 60 others, with donations going to Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity ’s campaign Bright Young Dreams.
