National Nurses Day is chosen to be celebrated on 12th May as its Florence Nightingale’s birthday, the founder of modern nursing. We’re so proud to have links to Florence Nightingale and her family as her Grandmother, Mary Shore, used to live on the site Tapton Hall is currently built on!
