Everyone! We welcome people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. We encourage people who are on their own and fancy a chat, we also support people who are affected by dementia.

We’re fully accessible and have a disabled toilet big enough for a motorised wheelchair.
📆 Bookings
Bookings are required for afternoon teas and for our events. You don’t have to book at other times but we sometimes get full, so you’re welcome to book if you like.
💃 Events
These include weekly knit and natter, daytime singing, bingo and quiz, evening pie and quiz nights, evening wreath making.
🐕 Dogs
Dogs are welcome in our garden and in our heated cabins.
🥗 Menu
We have lots of options on our menu, however if you fancy something different please ask. If we have it, you can have it 🙂 we can cater for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-frees and diary-frees.

Our Story
We opened on 31st August 2017 and love the community that we’ve become a part of. We serve homemade healthy food, afternoon teas, and sweet treats - check out our menu.
We’re off the beaten track, and have been described as ‘a hidden gem’. Once you find us you can sit and look out over the Shirebrooke Valley, or browse through our books, play some board games, or put on some records. We also have a toy box for our younger visitors.
We’re a memory and conversation cafe and love helping people meet up and make new friends, you’re very welcome to come alone and we’ll sit and chat. But don’t worry, if you want a natter with a friend, a quiet coffee with your mum, or some food with friends we’ll leave you to it and you won’t be hurried out. We very much believe time and food should not be rushed!
