Skipton Board Gamers

What a great evening! Around 50 of us met for a fantastic evening with too many great games to mention!

An amazing time was had by all (of a representative survey taken) and I think a record 27 pizzas eaten (amazingly only 1 not correct)

I now can not wait till May for another awesome night! Make sure you get it in the diary now 😀

With March now under way just wanted to remind everyone that we do not have a Saturday event this month due to Airecon and so many of us attending that!

If you don’t know anything about Airecon I can’t recommend it enough and you can find out more information on their Facebook and web pages (AireCon). It is well worth checking out especially having such a good board game convention right on our doorstep in Harrogate!

This gives me a great opportunity to plug our weekly groups with Tuesday night in the Trawden Arms and Thursday night in the Narrow boat both giving us regular gaming slots to attend! Today is SBG and I’m so excited!

Hoping many of you will be able to make it for a great evening of games, good company and pizza (if that’s your thing!)

What a great turnout last night! 40 of us met, rolled dice, drew cards, looked in frustration at the ceiling, wondered how many 6s should one man be able to roll, flicked wooden disks with hope and ambition across a circular board, ate pizza, ate ALL of the tuckshop, drank coffee, left a copy of carcassonne behind (please claim), laughed, talked, coloured in (tiny London Underground sheets) and delicately placed animal super hero’s on a precarious tower!! (Plus much much more)

What we didn’t do is take many pictures - we were having too much fun!

So Big News!!

After more then 5 years we have decided to change our name! Table Top Champions has been a great name but we wanted something that just reflected who we are and was more accessible and welcoming!

So we would like to present with our beautiful new logo thanks to the amazing Chris Wray

We are still the same amazing group, friendly and welcoming whether you have been playing board games for 20 years or 5 mins! We will still be the group many of us know and love just with a new accessible name!

We are now just under a week away from our April gathering! With March off for our annual Airecon break hopefully we are all excited about being back together and playing some great games!

May and June Events will appear this week as well as some exciting changes! watch this space........

It’s been a busy month and great fun was had at Airecon but now it’s time to get some dates planned in for the group 😀

With Easter fast approaching we have decided to put a date in before hand I’m just waiting for confirmation but please save the date for the 1st for our next Saturday event

In May we are aiming for the 6th May and June 10th!! I will get all these events up and live once booked in but please put them in your diary now 😀

What a fab night at TTC and lovely to be in our new venue! Loads of space and table possibilities also so nice to be back in one room again! So much played: Cthulhu wars, quacks, clank catacombs, Isle of cats, battle ravens, dinosaur island: Rawr and write, DC deck builder, paperback, code names and more I didn’t clock!

Great turn out and lovely to see some new faces!! Will be looking to get some more dates up now for April and May, we don’t traditionally do March due to Airecon in the middle!

Hello everyone just wanted to come and say sorry we have missed doing something in January! Trying to get a date to start in our new venue sorted and will let you know ASAP we are aiming to be back up and running in February 😀

If your missing us and your gaming fix head over to the Table Top champions group where you can start the conversation arrange some games and there is also a new WhatsApp group for those who are not big Facebook fans!

Morning all, sorry for lack of date so far am just down to pin down our potential new venue for a date!
