According to a new study by preforming only 8 reps per week you can achieve increases in strength and fascicle length.
We need to keep in mind that the athletes in this study were recreationally active males and therefore the results might be slightly different in professional athletes.
Nevertheless, the take away message is quite clear. By preforming only 8 reps per week, we can reduce the hamstring injury risk.
Keep in mind that more is even better and never forget that maintenance is required in order to maintain your gains. 💪
