Sorry I've not posted in a while, I've been really busy moving to another premises and searching for a new fantastic laser to use.

I'm so excited to tell you that I'll now be working with the wonderful Heidi at Blank Canvas Lasers, in Benfleet.

Fantastic progress after 1 treatment.

This tattoo is being replaced with a full back piece and so won't need complete removal. Hopefully just one or two more treatments and that should do the trick.

So happy to have been able to help this client get the tattoo they really wanted.

This feather tattoo was a cover up.
In the bottom image you can really see the original ink coming through underneath, as we have successfully removed a lot of the 2nd tattoo.

We are just partially removing a section of this tattoo so that it can be covered with something new.

This has only had one treatment so far and the left hand image was taken 5 months after treatment number 1.

Reggie here will be nothing but a distant memory soon enough.

These brows had previously been partially removed elsewhere, using a non laser technique. However the remaining ink was no longer responding to that treatment and so this client came to us.

She had two treatments with us in total and then was able to get her brows redone to a style she was happy with.

The white frosting seen in the bottom image is a completely normal response to laser treatment and will disappear again after about 15 minutes. The tattoo will then slowly begin to fade over the next 8 weeks.

Immediately after first full treatment.

The wings look like they are virtually gone don't they? However, they did get a little darker again after a few minutes. This is normal.

It's important to bare in mind that when you see the initial frosting of the pigment straight after treatment, it won't stay that way for long. The actual process of the ink fading takes time.

The pigment used for microblading and semi permanent make up tends to change colour immediately and permanently once its been exposed to laser light.
It will then begin to fade away over the next 8 weeks or so.

One of the things I really like about tattoo removal is the way it can help change how a person feels about themselves or their life.

Everyone who comes in to see me wants their tattoo faded for a cover up or completely removed, obviously.

However, the reasons why they want them removed are so much more varied than you might first think.

Some tattoo's might look fine to an onlooker but to the wearer, it's sometimes a reminder of a part of their life they would rather be left in the past and forgotten, because they've grown and changed as a person in one way or another.

The relief and happiness these people feel when their tattoo's begin to fade after treatment, is really lovely to see and is absolutely one the best bits about my job.

I always say it's a bit like a cleanse 😂.
