Today at ashlea Mews we say good buy to gillian are laundry assistant she is retiring after 20 years service she is having a lovely day receiving her gifts from the staff and her 20 years service award time to put her feet up we will miss you Gillian but enjoy relaxing now

Been busy day today. Some of our people have been enjoying the nice weather and have been out side in the garden and judith has been to the west park

Thank you all those who came along to the wet summer fair. Also want to thank the people’s angels who came along and also those who volunteer and helped on our stalls. Our raffle was drawn and prizes have been given out those are unclaimed numbers will be put on Facebook tomorrow and we haven’t drawn the patio set yet

Summer fair is still on but we are inside.

Just a reminder tomorrow our summer fair from 1 to 4. If it’s dry it will be in the car park but if it rains it will still go ahead but will be inside.

🚶‍♀️ Residents at Three Bridges take part in Warrington Walking Day 2024 🚶‍♂️

A longstanding tradition dating back to the 1800's, the annual Walking Day has become a time for celebration in Warrington - and the residents at Three Bridges Nursing Home joined in the fun with their own special event!

"As Warringtonians, we are so proud of this tradition" said Wendy, Administrator at Three Bridges Nursing Home. "Our residents have taken part in Warrington Walking Day's their entire lives, so why stop now?"

Having their own street party, residents continued the tradition in the comfort of the nursing home, thanks to the amazing team at Three Bridges. What a fantastic idea!

What a lovely gift to receive from Bruce's family 🎁

Zenka and the team at Chatsworth Lodge Care Home recently said goodbye to Bruce as he returned home, and were given with this wonderful gift from his loved ones!

A retired SEN Learning Disabilities Nurse, Bruce came to stay with the Chatsworth team for a short-term respite break. Although only there for 2 weeks, Bruce's family were so happy with his care they wanted to give something in return 🥺

Remembered for his kindness and love of all things creative, Bruce was an absolute joy to care for, and the team are so pleased he's able to return home to Jackie! Thank you to everyone at Chatsworth Lodge for providing exceptional care to our residents ❤️

Jackie, resident at Lofthouse Grange and Lodge Care Home, was recently inundated with well wishes after we shared her incredible story of being a foster mum to over 300 children (yes, you read that right 😲 )

Alongside her husband, Ronnie, Jackie helped raise over 300 children in the span of 40 years; many of whom still regularly visit her, and three of which they adopted. Now with 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, Jackie enjoys spending time with her loved ones and has even had a surprise 80th birthday party, thanks to the team at Lofthouse Grange & Lodge!
