Curdridge Primary School
Welcome to Curdridge Primary School; a wonderful, caring school at the heart of a small rural community.
A massive well done to the district sports track events team for finishing 3rd overall as a team. Like yesterday there were some fantastic individual running performances and great relay races as a team. A big well done to all who represented the school.
Yesterday we had a fantastic afternoon at St John’s taking part in four field events: speed bounce, javelin, shot put and standing long jump. We had some individual successes and overall finished 3rd as a team together. Well done to all of them.

The rounders team performed very well this afternoon playing 4 games, winning 3 and only losing to the winning team.
We even beat the winning school in a friendly after the tournament which was slightly frustrating. The good news is 5 of the team were Year 5 so they are all set for a good performance next year.
This afternoon was a great afternoon for Fun Sports. The weather played ball and we had an excellent time having fun and taking part in lots of sport.
A big thank you to those parents who came to help and a special mention to the class 4 children who were fantastic leading their groups round the activities; it was great to see the caring and supportive nature of all the children.
It was great way to end an excellent week where Year 6 showed a fantastic attitude towards their tests.
More photos will be on the newsletter next week.
Happy Easter 🐣- have a fantastic break.

Netball Team Victorious again…
This afternoon the netball team were victorious once again. They represented the Swanmore School Cluster group in the South Wi******er and Eastleigh tournament. They played 6 games and won 6 only conceding 1 point across the whole tournament. All of the 7 in the team performed fantastically and they now have qualified for the Hampshire School Games Netball tournament. This is a really big achievement for them all and they should be really proud of their efforts.
Class 3 had an incredible session getting up close and personal with a range of interesting creepy crawlies. Check out the class page for photos:
