An amazing Thorpe Bay sunset when I went to site to inspect the near completion of our beautiful home overlooking the sea, the colours compliment the design beautifully and help accentuate a stunning mix of traditional and modern, designed by KGA, carefully constructed by CHC and beautifully finished by Venn Morgan interiors. A real pleasure to see the inside complete and now just the external works to finish the work

Not a bad way to start the week

Taking a walk through Leigh on Sea and really pleased to see our development of flats complete and ready for use. This was a site in desperate need of regeneration for which we achieved 9 flats with car parking to the rear on a prominent corner in the heart of Leigh for a private developer. I hope the residents enjoy living there as much as we enjoyed designing it

Love seeing our designs put to use and doing everything they intended and more. The garage and front terrace really offset our client’s beautiful cars creating a feature display for both their interior and exterior pieces of art

Our wonderful clients in Danbury invited the building and design team to their new house to celebrate with family and friends on a lovely summers evening. Im so proud of this project and grateful to the most amazing and trusting clients, the hardworking and conscientious builders and suppliers and inspirational design team for bringing our ideas to life. Very rarely are architects given a full licence to design and create without constraints, so it was great to see the house in full swing and all enjoying their surroundings, this is what makes the whole process worthwhile!!

Slowly slowly we are nearing completion. The house and entertainment area looks amazing just need to wrap up the front and get the guys off site!! Not king now

Thorpe Bay new build coming along nicely, looking forward to the second fix and decorating starting to bring it all together

Great to revisit our beautiful house in Thorpe Bay to determine final completion. The house looks amazing and will soon be signed off as complete… so grateful to the team on and off site and a wonderful client for allowing us to imagine and create a special house

A beautiful KGA design nearing completion in Shoeburyness. Unique house for a unique site facing out to sea. Just the final touches to the external areas and we will be complete. It’s been an absolute pleasure to act as contract administrator and architect for a great client. Well done to all involved!!

A more traditional KGA project in Thorpe Bay coming along nicely, an interesting fusion of contemporary and traditional facing our beautiful estuary. Great work from the guys on site as we get stuck into the interior finishes!!

So the house in Danbury is complete and looks amazing the team have excelled and produced a building to be proud of. Modern but cosy open and spacious but intimate it’s quite special. Another 3 months to complete the externals and wrap the project up and deliver the final handover

Landscaping taking shape at Danbury which really enhances the building in its surroundings. Getting close with interior almost complete, just the final push in the main house… keep going team !!

Great to see the Danbury progressing well with plasterboard installation and screed making the structure start to feel like a house. Thanks to all involved

Steelworks in place at our new build house in Shoeburyness. Lovely morning on site in the sun and enjoying the spectacular views of the estuary. All looks great, the views when finished will be stunning

Another 2 weeks of great progress with cladding and sedum roofs installed, please to have Barrie and Scott on site to see the progress on their home

Our new build ‘hole in the ground’ will soon be out of the ground and resembling a house, excellent progress by the team on site
