The Brief Story of CP Shutters Limited

Established over ten years ago, CP Shutters had small beginnings. Starting life in Gidea Park, Essex, Owner Chris Petrou took the first steps into a little known market of Plantation Shutters. Massive in America and many other parts of the world, Plantation Shutters at the time, were not established in the UK, however over the first 5 years of CP Shutters existence, more and more people began to realize the incredible advantages of Shutters and how they can benefit their homes. Subsequently the business began to grow rapidly, soon CP Shutters was family run, Michelle (Chris’ Wife) in charge of logistics, Nick head of Fitting, but the demand on the company was so great it needed to take the next step. The Westcliff branch was opened, clients could finally come and see and feel our products, learn more on how we worked as a business.

Since then CP Shutters has become more sophisticated and successful with each passing year, to date, we have now designed and installed over 8500 interior Shutters and become the largest Interior Shutter specialist in Essex, as well as one of the largest in the UK as a whole.

CP Shutters now employs a team of 9 (excluding all the children!) and adds to ranks every passing year. We have won awards for customer service and gained a truly unrivaled reputation in the Shutter industry.

Our success is down to our commitment to providing only the very best quality Shutters that money can buy, coupled with a wealth of experience and knowledge that no other company can match.
