So this week up again & weight has held around the 104โs so far so it is moving, but as always weโre patient and donโt rush things as we still have a solid 8-9 months at least to try and fill this out ๐๐ผ

Teresa here with some outstanding results in a short space of time ๐๐ผ we planned on having longer but some unforeseen circumstances meant we had 8 weeks to pull things down for her photoshoot!
Got some great backstage shots and the look is fantastic, canโt wait to see the full edits when they come through ๐๐ผ
Teresaโs been as hard working and consistent as they come, continuing to get stronger every week and even banging out sets yes SETS of 8 pull ups and 8-10 chin ups ๐ช๐ผ
Definitely have future plans for another shoot in the future so looking forward to bringing an even better version soon! ๐

Week by week we tracked progress closely, strength continued to improve whilst bodyfat dropped and we never let intensity in the gym drop ๐ช๐ผ
Looking forward to seeing the results of the beach shoot and the Final Cut of all the hard work put in ๐ธ

6th week pulling back for for appetite reset & this week already feeling a big difference in hunger ๐๐ผ
Since the reduction Monday yesterday and today felt hungry upon waking & meals have cruised in! Brianโs set one last drop in food to keep this pull back to as sort as we can so we can get back to pushing food asap ๐ฅฉ๐ช๐ผ
The goal as always is to put on as much muscle as possible in 2024 and we know appetite is my limiting factor as my body needs a lot of food to gain weight!
This pull back has helped boost my confidence in the sense that in the last 6 months since the show some of my weak (based on judges feedback) areas have improved, notably my arms and chest which I can see having pulled some fat off my upper ๐๐ผ
Training strength is still increasing & Iโm at probably the strongest Iโve ever been ๐ช๐ผ looking forward to food pushing back up and seeing what we can achieve in the second half of the year and bring the biggest & best Matt possible for 2025 ๐๐ผ

Me and Lauren have been coach/client in person for around 2 years, and last year we had a good strength base and were maintaining around 75kg and focusing on strength and building up her strength and muscle.
At the end of the year we had some down time due to personal reasons and the weight got away from her due to less training & steering away from the nutrition plan.
But in January she came back with a vengeance determined to get as lean as possible & this is the result of 5 months of solid graft, sticking to the diet and not missing any training or cardio ๐๐ผ
So far sheโs blasted 20kg off and now we want another 10kg ๐ฅ
Lauren always trains extremely hard and once her mindset is locked in on the diet sheโs as consistent as they come โ
Keep an eye out for this as itโs gona be a great look when we get down into those 60โs and beyond ๐

Week 5 of pulling food back to get appetite up and running. Definitely feeling tighter this week, mid section feels a lot leaner with much more details coming in the legs.
The goal here isnโt necessarily to drop bodyfat and get lean but to ensure we can go into the second phase of this push for size and maintain a good high amount of food for a prolonged period of time!
Hunger both physically and mentally is increasing as anyone whoโs done a proper off season will know itโs a mental battle of mind vs food intake and it does make you feel constantly full, tired and sluggish, which can lead to a lull in drive and enthusiasm over time.
Training strength is still increasing & Iโm at probably the strongest Iโve ever been ๐ช๐ผ looking forward to food pushing back up and seeing what we can achieve in the second half of the year and bring the biggest & best Matt possible for 2025 ๐๐ผ

As competing is in our future plans heโs been working with the posing expert himself on his mandatories and classic poses ๐ช๐ผ
Another 5/6 weeks and a well deserved holiday is in place then itโs time for us to drop the hammer and really push to add some solid mass to this frame ๐ฆ

Unfortunately during the charity football match I did injure my leg so leg training atm is restricted to certain movements so for it to happen during this pull back is probably for the best! Donโt jump around in goal at 17 stone kids ๐

Had the pleasure of working with Rebecca this past Saturday who made the 4.5 hour trip up from Poole to come and do some training with me ๐๐ผ now thatโs dedication!
We went through a leg session & worked on some form, tempo & control techniques which hopefully will help develop some more tissue in the last 4 weeks of her off season ๐ช๐ผ
We touched on some posing as well post session and I was very impressed with the shape, muscle and overall balance of her physique! Always a bonus to be able to see and assess in person as photos can only show you so much!
As well as she performed & looked the thing that impressed me the most is the sheer determination to get everything right, to be the most optimal she can and bring the absolute best she can to the stage ๐
Itโs that mentality that builds fantastic physiques and champions!
Iโve got no doubt that if that mindset combines with the hard work Iโve seen sheโs capable of in the gym, and the consistency needed with nutrition then weโre going to bring a very special look ๐๐ผ

Stackhouse vs Puregym Charity Match ๐

Something a little different!
Its been a week since the gym I work & train at competed in a charity football match against Puregym at in aid of โค๏ธ
I believe so far over ยฃ1500 was raised so a brilliant amount!
It was a fantastic day & a lot of fun, enjoyed the training in preparation and took me back to my playing days as a kid!
Obviously I was in goal as running around at 108kg just wasnโt happening! ๐
The team played as a unit and in all honesty it could have been a lot more! Definitely looking forward to the next one!

Week 2 of pulling things back after appetite died on me a couple of weeks ago. Last week food was lowered and meals went in but still feeling rough and sometimes physically hard to eat ๐ฃ

Hard reset here for the physique after the appetite hit a brick wall. Itโs been an uncomfortable last 2-3 weeks with the food but we were getting it in, however this week a few bites of a meal & I was feeling physically sick.
Itโs a shame because we arenโt anywhere near filled out or where we want to be bodyweight wise but the foods been high for a long time and my stubborn metabolism & digestion just wonโt handle any more โ
I am happy with the progress made and how Iโm looking & Iโm definitely bigger than Iโve ever been. Last off season we peaked at 107 ish and I was a lot softer, so at 110 in good condition we just reset, then go again chasing that 115 โ
Training side is flying, strengths right up there and only increasing so we focus on that as we run through this short recomp phase ๐ช๐ผ

Solid weeks training this week with solid progress in weight & reps ๐ช๐ผ quad tendons starting to relax a bit as well so squats worked up to some good numbers & even extensions were pushed more ๐๐ผ
Food wise we know we need more & more weight as the physique is nowhere near filled but appetite is always my limiting factor and being at a high amount of food already weโre gona hold tight and push this last 5/6 weeks of off season phase 1 before a pull back & go again!
Happy with the progress since the show, Iโd like to think in the region of 4-5kg tissue in under 6 months & looking forward to finishing 2024 around the 115kg mark โ

Steveโs had to work around extensive injuries suffered in a motorbike accident, including a smashed pelvis, dislocated hip, broken femur, torn quad & sciatic damage! ๐ฌ
When we first started Steve couldnโt even straighten his leg fully and have during our time training had a titanium hip installed! ๐ง
No excuses, no complaining and not a session missed ๐ช๐ผ

This week definitely feels like the start of a solid run of good training, food intake & motivation to aim for that 115kg target.
With the sprain in my pec tendon & neck issue I had definitely been stressing that I wasnโt progressing & my where weight was fluctuating around the same it was definitely a frustrating period.
I still got sessions in that I could do and all meals in and because things werenโt budging it 100% gets to you.
This week bodyweight weight hit an all time high, fullness definitely more noticeable & strength is at an all time high and with that comes a much more positive mindset ๐ช๐ผ
Looking forward now to a great run where we can really focus on growth and progress ๐

Rest week complete โ
After the injury to my neck we decided best decision was to rest fully all last week with recovery being the number one priority ๐๐ผ
Weight was down slightly due to rest day food and likely the reduction of retention due to no resistance training, so no food change just focusing on getting back to full training ๐ช๐ผ

Last week as some may have seen, locked some vertebraeโs in my neck and my muscles from head to mid back were seized and in total spasm ๐ซจ
Thankfully due to the help of Arron & Brad, combined with adequate rest and recovery techniques we were 95% recovered by Monday and able to resume training ๐ช๐ผ
Solid first session back yesterday on push with strength actually increasing on several movements โ
Just shows if you put in the work even when resting, you can still improve. It wasnโt an ideal or wanted situation but we stayed positive and got it handled ๐๐ผ

So unfortunately this week as some may have seen Iโve managed to lock some vertebraeโs in my back ๐
Woke up Sunday morning with a sharp pain in the muscles at the back of my neck, no big deal itโs a rest day so we chilled & relaxed ๐๐ผ
Until Monday morning came and I couldnโt even lift my head off the pillow ๐
Managed to get an emergency osteopath appointment who then confirmed the locked neck, with all muscles from the base of my spine to my erectors in full spasm & rock solid ๐ฌ
The cause we donโt know but what we do know is what we can do to recover ๐๐ผ

The change in the overall structure and shape here is amazing, sheโs completely transformed from powerlifter to bodybuilder ๐
Rebecca is competing for the first time in November in the first timers masters bikini class ๐
The goal for this recomp was to tidy up the physique, get the body fat down and assess the structure and shape we had in preparation for a muscle building phase before we begin prep ๐๐ผ
Weโve been able to analyse the frame now we can see the strengths & weaknesses and adjust the training accordingly ๐ช๐ผ
This also gave Rebecca a chance to experience how a prep would feel, by adhering to a strict nutrition plan and executing a training plan for a prolonged amount of time โ
Now we enter a push phase to build on the weak points in preparation for prep come and end of June ๐

Held the 108โs again this week & looking to blast this up to the 109โs this week โ๏ธ
Strength still increasing, pec sprain is now fully healed so we keep increasing movements when possible ๐ช๐ผ
Bodyโs recovering well & so far digestion and appetite is holding nicely, already on higher food than the last off season and in much better condition. Just need to be patient, keep putting the work in and wait for that growthhh ๐๐ผ

Fantastic work from Thomas whoโs been I canโt lie a cos heโs dream from day one! Albeit sometimes feel like I havenโt got any work to do ๐
We implemented a plan, got stuck in, and heโs absolutely killed it with a steady 1kg drop every week ๐
No fancy crash diet, special secret training program or additional magic supplements โ
Just adherence to a tailored nutrition plan, 4 days per week lifting and getting the boxes ticked with cardio and steps โ
Each and every week I open his form waiting for an issue or for progress to slow down but the man has been bang on every week & if it ainโt broke, we donโt fix it ๐๐ผ
Looking forward to seeing this physique with another 10kg off! ๐
