We would like to express our ongoing gratitude to all who have donated to the Foodbank in recent weeks, either financial or food.

By the middle of March this year we had already spent the same amount buying in food, as for the whole of 2022! So we are so thankful for all your support.

Some weeks we have given out twice the amount of parcels as previously and therefore our volunteers have also had to work doubly hard to keep pace with demand. Well done everyone!

👏 A big Thankyou to all who continue to donate through the appropriate bins at Sainsbury's especially. So far we have not seen a drop in these donations, which shows the generosity of our community in these difficult economic times.

👏A special thanks to Spar supermarkets and the Coop who are also supporting us.

👏 We would also like to thank those families who have made regular food donations over a number of weeks these past months. We appreciate your kindness enormously.

👏Our thanks to local churches, businesses and individuals who have made financial donations, large and small.

📣From those who receive your generosity many thanks come with tears. Recently, one lady was literally speechless when she saw the amount of food she was given. Hugs and tears followed as she realised their was help for her family in a very difficult situation.

We often feel so privileged to pass on your support.

God bless you and be with you.

We would like to pay tribute to all the Foodbanks and Larders in our local area for their hard work, patience and diligence in serving those in need in our community. Such support is freely given each week by dedicated volunteers.

We aim to work together and support each other where we can, we’re always grateful for the help supplied to us from our colleagues.
May God bless us and give us wisdom and strength to meet the many challenges facing us as we continue to provide this emergency support in 2023

Your donations make this possible so BIG THANK YOU from us and everyone who has received a parcel.
